"Tabitha!!

"Come back here",Father calls back as I continue chattering and running around the house not wanting to be bath by father

"No papa,I don't want you to bath me please", I answered with a puppy face

Father still thinks I am a little girl at the age of 10

"Don't give me that face"

"But father,I can do this myself without your help"

"How sure are you", Father Asked

"100% sure father"

"Hmmmm... I'll allow you do this yourself but if I sight any dirt on your body, I promise I won't allow u bath yourself until you are 18

"Huhhh"... I widened my eyes as I heard father said that

"No jokes,Tabby"...

Father do calls me that whenever he is serious or joking... But right now I don't even if he is serious or joking

"So father,is that a go ahead"

"Partially yes",so do that fast and let's go hunting"

We live in a deep forest,faraway from Gichan,the big city

I don't think I have ever been there though... But if I am chanced,I would love to go there someday

"I will leave you behind Tabitha"

Ohhh... I am almost done,father...Just brushing my hair which grows almost everyday if I'm not exaggerating..

Off to bush,just we went

Swinging our arms like we just met

Catch a fish or hunt a meat

For dinner,for breakfast or for Feast!!

We sang and sang repeatedly until I sighted something with a brown skin from afar,it looks like a deer or an antelope,I couldn't just decipher which one it is...

Setting my arrow and my bow..

Paaaaahhh.. It went pass me like flash

But I haven't freed the arrow, still setting it,so who could have done that

Then I realized father must have,he is used to killing the prey which I'm always targeting..

Furiously,I turned to him and could not even find him behind again..

"Tabby... I heard father called me

"Don't call me,You knew I was about to kill that and u chanced me.. It is not fair "

"I'm sorry Tabby",

"I could not just allow you to miss the target and let it go before our very eye you know after the one you freed the last time we went for hunting"

"But that was just a mistake,atleast I have killed a rabbit before,I defended"..

"Moreover,this is not the first time you killed the prey I am targeting"

"Okay,Okay... I said I am sorry..."

"I promise I won't kill your prey again,satisfied"

"Not until you fulfill ur promise, then I will be satisfied,Father"

"Alright,let's carry the big deer home Tabby"

"I promise to make you a coat with it skin,How about that??

Father asked looking down at me..

"Hmm... "Alright and I will also get the largest, the ear and the tongue"

"Huhh.. "That almost the nutritious part of the meat"

"Then I am not leaving here"..

"Okay Tabby,I will give you what you wanted,how about that??

everyone is seen bowing their heads and simultaneously shivering because anytime prince Edward visits the market, trouble looms in the corner

"Prince Edward picked some other things and moved forward... "He did so at every places he got to and if anyone dare challenge him,they got beaten by Jeckens..."

Father shouted, he is always like that whenever I raised the city issue but tonight is more aggressive,I flinched after been interrupted

Fighting hard to stop the tears from dropping... I walked out the little but neat cottage going to my favorite spot whenever I am down

Getting there, I saw the backward look of a man dressed in a fine linen,his hair fall to his shoulder and he also has a broad back

Accidentally tripped on a stone and fell

Ouch!!...I hissed in pain

I can see the man peeped at my face
