Chapter 1: Playing Around

“Seriously, Isla? In the middle of the day?” Lily exclaimed soon as she caught her best friend making out with a civil engineer student.

Isla pushed the man away, but the man smiled mischievously, making him pull Isla and pressed his lips on hers.

Lily nearly pukes because of that scene but Isla just let out a disturbing chuckle.

“See you later, Nate,” said Isla when the man stood up.

Lily rolled her eyes. She was used to this scenario ever since they were in their first year.

Isla grabbed a gum inside the pocket of her bag, tore it, and chew the green minty gum. “So? What’s wrong?” she asked as if she didn’t do anything gross.

Lily heaved a deep sigh. “You will get a disease if you keep on doing that,” she warned.

Isla smirked and tapped the space near her. “Have a seat. Don’t worry. I’m still a virgin. We can go to the doctor and check it—”

“Shut up, Isla. For once, can you stop talking about those things?”

Isla chuckled. “Oh, my not so innocent, Lily. Come on, we’re adults now. You’re twenty—”

“Exactly! I am just twenty and you’re just nineteen.”

Isla shook her head as she blew and popped her gum. “Correction, I’ll be twenty next month.”

Lily couldn’t help but have a blood rush every time Isla shows her stubbornness, which she knew she can’t win. So, in the end, she just let her.

“Anyway, will you attend the Summer Camp?”

Isla arched her left brow. “Where?”

“Wake Forest University,” Lily replied.

Isla formed a sly smirk on her lips. At this moment, Lily knew what was her friend thinking.

“I know that smile, Isla.”

“Seriously, WFU allowed us to enter their prestigious university?” Isla asked, a little bit baffled.

Lily shrugged. “It’s an in and out of campus activity. The administration won’t offer it if the WFU didn’t agree, right?”

Isla nodded. “Well… you hear about that university, right? WFU means seeing hunky guys with wonderful d!cks!”

Lily’s eyes widened when she heard that word from Isla. “The fvck, Isla. When will you stop engaging with those words in front of me?”

Isla burst into laughter. She couldn’t help it every time Lily pull out her best reaction. “Geez, Lily,” she shook her head. “Bear with it. You can leave me if you don’t want to hear nasty words. But do accept that this is me. This is who I am. I might be a virgin but I’m not innocent.”

Lily took a deep breath and tapped Isla’s shoulder. “One day, karma will haunt you down.”

Isla laughed but out of sarcasm. “He’s been around me all of my life, Lily. I am not afraid. He makes me miserable.”

Lily could feel Isla’s burden. Yes, she knew all about Isla’s story. From day one in college, when she met Isla, she stayed despite the rumors that surrounds the girl. She understands her. She wanted to tell Isla that she always has a choice, but she doesn’t want to meddle with her friend’s things. Because she knew one day, Isla would learn a lesson.

“But aren’t you tired? You almost kiss every guy you wanted. You grabbed them and the stupid thing that you ever did is when you even kiss and left that nerdy IT guy way back in the first year,” Lily stated, making Isla laugh.

“I just fulfill his wish, Lily. You knew he had a crush on me.”

Lily rolled her eyes, making Isla arch her brow. “Because of what you did, he dropped out.”

Isla fixed her dress and even pushed her bust and stood up. “Men should know that not because a woman showed interest means to say she will stay.”

Lily just nodded and after that, they walked towards their next class.

Lily and Isla are both in their second year in college at Monroe University, and they both taking up Business Administration.

When they’re climbing upstairs, Isla saw Aaron, her fling last month. She saw how the man scan her from head to toe as she strode in his direction.

Aaron, an IT student is leaning on the stairs rail, crossed arms while chewing gum like her.

Lily snaked her arm into Isla’s making Isla to gazed at her. “Don’t worry. I got this.”

Lily arched her brow and whispered, “We have classes.”

Isla smirked and let pulled Lily’s arm away and walked toward Aaron. She smiled, sexily and says, “Hey.”

The man unclasped his arms and relaxed them on the top of the rail. “Looking gorgeous as ever, Isla,” he said.

The man still adores Isla’s beauty and even closes his eyes when he sniffed Isla’s sweet and seducing cologne.

Isla smirked as she placed her hand on the man’s chest. She started to touch him gently, seducing him… and even pressed her body closer to him. And in seconds, she could feel his angry pet, poking her.

Seeing this, Lily massages her temple as she looked around. Although students have their own activity, still, flirting is a little shameful.

“So… Aaron, are you free later?” Isla asked, seductively. She even bit her lower lip.

She could feel Aaron’s rugged breathing as if he was controlling something. As soon as she knew that she met the point, she moved away and let out a playful chuckle.

“See you around, A,” she said and planted a soft kiss on the man’s cheek, leaving him aroused and dumbfounded.
