I was rescued in the third year after I was abducted.

My boyfriend, Lu Feng, carried me from the police station till I reached home. He held me tightly, fearing I would be blown away by a gust of wind.

When I got home, my best friend Zhang Qian helped me to a shower. 

When she saw the scar on my belly, she washed it for me, hugged me, and cried while I was in her arms.  

"Does it hurt?"

"... No."

She cried even harder after that.

In fact, she didn't know that the two cuts on my belly and waist saved my life.

After a shower, my parents had already cooked various local foods.

I loved spicy food before the abduction, but couldn't eat it now. 

I had an irregular diet as I was locked up in the basement all year round and suffered severe stomach problems. Even little spices or chilies could make me uncomfortable.

"Try this spicy chicken. You liked it the most." Zhang Qian placed a lot of food on my dishes.

"You can have it." I placed the food back on her plate. 

Lu Feng, who had been silent, said, "She can't eat spicy food now." 

"Just a little." Zhang Qian glared at him and took a bite. 

The next second, she covered her mouth and ran to the toilet.

I stood there in a daze.

"She's pregnant. She can't eat spicy food." My mother sighed.

I was dumbfounded. 

"Is she married?" I asked softly.

No one responded to me. 

Then, my father answered in a low voice, "Lu Feng and Zhang Qian are together."

In an instant, I felt as if I had been struck by lightning.

Later, I couldn't remember what Lu Feng and Zhang Qian said.

I was as quiet as a child who had done something wrong during the period.

I only remembered my father holding my trembling hands under the table.
