I smile as I hear my mum call for me, I'm coming mum I call back at her

My name is Hailey Knight, I'm seventeen years old, I'm tall and I can say I'm well endowed I have the right curves and I have the oddest color of hair,I have blue ,white and black hair,no I didn't dye my hair ,I've had problems with new teachers everytime because of my hair color, it's blue on one side, black on the other side and white in the middle,I was just born that way ,most times I always cover it because no matter what I do it doesn't change from the colors I was born with ,if I cut it it grows twice as fast so I don't even bother any more ,and I turn eighteen in five days , my best friends name is Jennifer Woods and I have a crush on the school perfectionist, the shining star and world best King Night, yes I know our last names sound alike and people thought we were related till they checked the spelling of our names, but i know its because we're meant to be together but he just doesn't know it yet

I've not been sleeping well, and I've only told my best friend Jennifer about it, I've been having dreams where I feel like someone is calling me ,I try to answer but the person keeps calling out to me like they can't hear me , and when I wake up I'm literally floating , like floating above my bed,yes I know it sounds ridiculous and absurd that's what Jen says

until she had a sleepover at my house, I've not told my mother yet because I honestly don't know how to put it and I don't want to freak her out, she had a cancer scare late last year so I've been doing my best not to stress her, she's the most perfect woman on earth, she loves me to death and I hate to stress her so it's just Jen and I handling it all for the past six months when it all started.

I head downstairs and the table is already set , it's yam, fried eggs with tomatoes and fresh pepper , orange juice and some avocados on the side, my favorite food for Mondays, you see each day of the week I have a particular food to help me start my day , if I don't have my day food literally I cannot function that whole day , thanks mum I kiss her cheeks before sitting , you should have called me to help you mum ,hey bun how was your night I heard my dad say,good morning dad I get up to go kiss my dad as well ,I always forget to kiss my dad after kissing my mum, sometimes my mum jokes about it and dad always goes ha ha very funny , but he knows I love him , what's wrong sweetie you look like you fought a war in your sleep , I look at my mum and say nothing mum just trying to read a lot so I can finish with good grades as a senior I answer and beam at her, she smiles back and say I understand honey but can you take it easy, you're so precious to me and I don't like you looking tired when you just woke up , my dad was already getting up to bring the blood tonic so I can have strength for the day ,I love my parents so much and that's why I don't disturb them or stress them , I know as their child im supposed to confide in them but I just couldn't bring myself to do it, suddenly it was as if I was having a vision, I saw a woman wearing a flowing black dress and long blue hair I couldn't see her so well and I started bleeding through my nose. My mum screams Hailey and I don't even know when I pass out

My name is Jennifer Woods and I'm Hailey's best friend, i am not human, I've been keeping watch over Hailey for as long as I can remember ,I have to protect her , she's in love with King but she doesn't know that King is meant for her,he doesn't want to tell her not until she's eighteen , he's not human either , but we can't tell her anything yet , if not her life will be in danger, she's a sweet soul and the nicest and I hate keeping secrets from her but I've been sworn to secrecy by my parents, suddenly I feel it , Hailey's powers are growing, and very soon they are going to know and they will come for her , I'm walking from my house to Hailey's house when I see King running up to me , something's wrong with Hailey ,I can feel it, because he's her destined one he feels everything she feels ,I ask what do you mean , he didn't even answer as he took off and I followed him ,we try not to run with our super human speed because you can never tell who's watching , in less than twenty minutes we're at her house, and we see her Human mother Jessi and Hunan father Arnold panicking, they're good parents ,and they love her so much and that's why they were chosen to take care of her , if only they knew that their real child died in the hospital the day she was born and that Hailey isn't theirs how would they feel , I didn't let myself dwell on that , King was already carrying Hailey up the stairs to her room , he didn't even pretend to not know the house since he has technically not been here or not supposed to have been here ,but I know he's worried , I go to touch Jessi to calm her down and I tell her to look at me , and when she does my eyes glow and I put her to sleep , I run with speed to Arnold who's about to shout and put him to sleep too, they won't remember a thing when they wake up , Jessi was supposed to have died of Cancer last year but I healed her and changed her fate ,I'll probably get in trouble with mother but she was Hailey's support system, it would have shattered her and I couldn't bear to let it happen I sigh as I try to take care of the mess

I was eating breakfast in my human parents house when I felt it ,the splitting headache and I knew instantly that something was wrong with Hailey ,I could feel her pain , and instantly I ran , I tried not to use my superhuman speed and I went to get Jen because she was my ticket to entering Hailey's house,but I couldn't wait for her , after informing her I ran ahead and I got to her house, her human parents were trying to figure out what was wrong but I had already collected her from them going up the stairs to her room ,I know I was supposed to act like I haven't been there , which I'm supposed to not have been there before, but I couldn't stay away ,I carried her to her bed and noticed the blood from her nose ,I instantly grab a tissue and wipe it all off,I know it's because of her birthday and that her body's changing,but I still couldn't let her go through it ,I run my hand through her beautiful hair, and my hand Is glowing ,I'm trying to take away some of her pain as i can't heal her because what she's going through is natural for us ,I look at her so lovingly , she's my life and she'll be what humans call wife to me , but to me it's more than being a wife , she's my life force, the air that I breathe,when she's hurt I'm hurt she's my everything, I can't go a day without looking or being close to her, and I try everyday to pretend to not know her or care when every fiber of my being recognizes her as my other half and my queen but I have to wait till she's eighteen, Jen and I were sent to protect her and though we look like we're eighteen we are not,we are over a thousand years old , but we have to come and grow like humans because we have to protect her until she's strong enough to know everything and we've been sworn to secrecy you never can tell whose watching and listening, some very evil people want Hailey and her powers , actually they want all three of us , Jennifer , Hailey and I , but they can't get Jen and I because we know who we are ,but Hailey is still so fragile and doesn't know anything about her past and they will try to use that to their advantage and we can't let that happen .

I don't know what's wrong with me i feel like someone is calling out to me , I try to answer but they can't hear me, suddenly feel like someone is lifting me ,it's so comforting and feels good , it relaxes me , I know for sure it's not my parents who can it be , my subconsciousness try to tell me it's King , but there's no way on earth that that's possible, he doesn't know I exist, all those years when people try to say we're related he gets so angry like I'm not worth being related to ,most times I see him with Jen and I think he likes her , and it breaks my heart everytime, but it's Jen and she means the world to me ,I don't know why I'm having this thoughts now , but I think it's helping it's distracting me from the pain , I wonder who that woman I saw was ,her skin looked so flawless but what caught my eye was her hair ,who was she ?, It was almost comforting to see her ,I wanted to see her again, even if it was just a glimpse, is she the one that's been calling me ?, If yes why?, Why did I have that vision in the first place ,is something wrong With me ?, Am I broken as all those kids in class used to say ? I start to cry .

I feel her uneasiness so I start to caress her hair to calm her down it starts to work and I relax and take my hand away to not wake her , cause I don't want her to see me in her room , not now,all of a sudden she starts to cry ,it felt as if my heart was breaking I didn't know when I bent down and kissed her closed eyes, I wanted to take away her pain and kiss her tears away.

I try my best to take both Jessi and Arnold to their room and put away the dishes and make everywhere clean I head upstairs to check on Hailey , I don't bother to hurry because I know King will take good care of her , and what she's going through is natural in our world especially if you've been living as a human for a long time , I knock when I get to the room even though I know King knows that I'm at the door , I wait a minute then I enter, even though I took my time I still meet King kissing Hailey's eyes I roll my eyes at him and clear my throat,he looks up at me and I see the pain in his eyes ,I know he feels how Hailey feels ,but I think she's in so much pain because I could see it in Kings eyes ,I go close to her and try to take some of her pain away, my hands start glowing and I touch her , she relaxes a lot and so does King , you really need to leave because she'll be awake any minute from now, I don't want her to get the wrong intentions about us and we can't explain till she's eighteen she might hate you for five days can you bear that I ask , he looks so reluctant to leave I could tell ,hey it's just till friday, you've waited for 200 years what's five days I ask he looks up at me and smiles ,I know he'll leave and he'll be strong for her ,he looks at her one more time and waves at me and jumps out the window and I roll my eyes ,he always loves to be the centre of attraction.

I noticed Jen come in and take some of Hailey's pain away, she relaxes instantly and I relax as well ,then the next thing Jen is trying to throw me out, I totally understand why , so I leave as I jump down the window I feel a strange aura, it feels like we're being watched,I know the feeling, I felt it before, no no no it can't be , it's not yet time, what gave us away I start to think,but no need to dwell on that those bastards are here ,they've found us...........
