"Pregnant for four months." The ink on the paper caught her eyes.

Was the result a blessing or a curse?

When the family doctor handed the report to Winia Milne, she had just come back after walking with a friend.

Looking at the result, Winia’s face gradually turned white and her hands trembled as she took over that thin paper.

Four months ago, under the pressure of public opinion, she had married the most remarkable prince of the royal family, Randall.

Even now as she recalled her wedding day, a sense of happiness would surge through.

The whole country praised the little-known princess for her gentle grace, which even gave her a delusion for being truly married to Prince Randall.

But deep inside, Winia knew she had never deserved him.

It was at the age of eight that Winia was attracted by the elegant and handsome man when she was led into the palace by her father.

Since then, she had been following Randall's footsteps for more than a decade.

He was so brilliant and much-adored by people, and all Winia could do was relentlessly demand herself to grow into the woman who would match him one day.

But no matter how hard she had tried, she still felt inferior to the noble prince who was quite the opposite of her.

Randall, a royal descendant of noble blood, while she was just an insignificant princess of humble birth.

For her, the prince should have been as bright as the star in the sky, which was far beyond her reach until that day they encountered an arranged couple by destiny.

Four months ago, being invited to the King's birthday party, Winia was honored to attend such an elegant banquet which was nearly inaccessible for people like her usually.During the feast, Winia enjoyed the best food and wine that she had never tasted before. And when she opened her eyes, it was the next day.

After staring at the strange room for a second, her head slid to the man who was sleeping beside.

It was Prince Randall.

Couldn’t believe what she had seen, a sharp red stain on the velvet bed stung her eyes without any warning. It was just in a heartbeat that Winia grudgingly accepted what had happened to her with the man in front of her.

She tried her best to ponder over the whole story, but it was too late. The housekeeper knocked at the door and a crowd of busy servants throng into the room. Then everyone was shocked by what they saw: a strange lady that came from nowhere was now lying with their noble Prince in the grand bed. How ridiculous this was!

It was just in a flash that the scandal had spread all over the country, and eventually, the story reached the ears of the Williams.

Though taking it as a great shame, the royal family had no choice but to reach an agreement to Winia and Randall’s marriage in case of any greater scandal.

For Winia, it was a sweet dream that didn’t want to wake from.

The affair was not that glamorous for sure, but she did become Prince Randall's wife after all.

However, for Prince Randall things were different.

He was not fond of Winia, and even hated her due to her appearance, and the fact that he was laughed at by people all over the country. What's worse, it was because of her that Randall could not marry his beloved one--Princess Elia, the elder sister of Winia and the apple of eyes of the Milne Family.

But still holding a faint hope, Winia sent a servant to tell Prince Randall that she was pregnant.

Not surprisingly, the prince hung up on her.

Having no choice, Winia could only inquire about the prince at the palace and expected to tell him the news by herself.

Every night, Winia prayed that the prince would come to see her.

Even if he could not be reached, Winia knew better than anyone where he was.

By evening, Winia had obtained no clues of Randall at the palace.

Perhaps today, Prince Randall would still not return......

Her heart sank into the ice at that thought, which made her feel terribly cold.

It was just when Winia was ready to have a rest after taking a shower in their marital home that she saw the door being kicked open abruptly and Prince Randall was standing there, full of rage.

Winia lifted her eyes slowly, only to see the prince come to her.

She Gazed at Randall's cold, hard face, feeling her heart beat wildly out of control.

"Randall......" Winia called out the man's name cautiously with a barely discernible smile appearing on her face.

Without giving time for her to react, Randall took a few steps forward and grabbed Winia's slender arm to lift her up.

By the time Winia knew what had happened, she was on the bed.

"Winia. Winia, are you so eager to be the royal member?"

Randall had a firm grip on her chin, and his eyes were filled with anger.

Looking at the man she had loved for more than a decade, Winia opened her mouth but could not explain anything.

Her face turned paler and paler and did not know how to defend herself.

She was afraid that her sincere affection turned out to be merely vain hypocrisy in his eyes.

"Randall, I love you......"

With the last desperate hope, Winia looked at Randall with sadness and sorrow on her face.

"Love?"

Seemingly hearing a big joke, the man sneered in a contemptuous way.

"A lowborn and humble girl, dares to say love to me while in my bed?"

The words went into Winia's ears like several sharp daggers stabbing her heart.

A heart full of sincere love.

The next day, Winia felt great pain just as a car had run over her.

Before she could move her aching legs, a box of contraceptives was dropped in front of her.

"You know what it means."

Winia looked up at Prince Randall in a sad look. He was already dressed up properly.

His indifference reminded her of the brutal night, and Winia looked down at the palm-sized plan B, with her heart aching again.

She couldn’t eat that!

She was already pregnant and she couldn’t harm the child she was carrying.

Prince Randall sneered with a raised eyebrow as Winia stayed still with no intention to take the pill.

"Do I have to feed you myself?"

Even feeling his fury, Winia still refused to fetch the water glass next to her.

Challenged by her blatant attitude, Randall began to lose patience .

"Winia, do you still want to give birth to my child and make that bastard the King of this country? You are not worthy of having my baby!"

His words again pierced her heart abruptly.

Looking at Randall's decisive expression, Winia knew that her efforts were in vain.

She had thought that the unexpected arrival of a child would smooth things over, but Winia was naive.

Now she did not even have the courage to tell the man she was happy to get pregnant.

On her side, Randall's cold eyes fixed on her firmly, just like a thorn,

Feeling such a pressure, Winia stuck the medicine at the back of her tongue and pretended to swallow it by drinking up the water calmy.

Being a bad liar, she had tried her best to disguise her guilt, begg in her heart that Randall wouldn’t see through her poor performance.

Suddenly, an abrupt bell rang in the deadlock atmosphere between the two. And as Randall saw the call clearly, he picked it up without thinking too much.

"What do you mean, Elia committed a suicide?"

Randall’s eyebrows tightly locked together as he got the news. Being close to him, Winia also saw the veins on his strong arm.

Overheard the news Winia also felt a great shock, her sister committed a suicide?
