Im just a middle school teenage girl, having part-time in one of convenience/ canteen store nearby in our school. 15 years ago, things are not like this, I was living with my parents in a luxury life, luxury cars, luxury clothes, living in the luxury village, cuz' my parents were the owner of a lot of companies in the country.

Not until the accident happened, I lost both mom and dad. Then my uncle was taking care of me, he always scolded me and that makes me feel bad cuz' he is so nice back then when mom and dad were alive. He didn't want me to eat with him every dinner, he said that I should eat with maids. He throws my luxury clothes and lets me sleep with maids too.

My life became miserable after I lost my parents, I thought since my uncle is the younger brother of my dad, he will treat me like a princess like what daddy always does. My uncle transferred me to the public school and I need to walk early every day to attend the class, he didn't want me to study in a private school and don't let the driver drive me to school like I used to.

10 years ago, I heard him with another person about the business then they suddenly talked that they should kill me as soon as possible so they are the ones who can have the properties of my parents since im the heir I should be the one who will inherit the property that my parents left.

After knowing that I started to avoid my uncle cuz' im scared knowing that my uncle is going to hurt me even though im his nephew and I was planning to run from this place and hide, after a day of overthinking what I've heard, one of the maids told me to put the trash outside and wait to the truck to get it, then suddenly an idea has popped up in my head how to get away here in that day, after waiting for a minute the truck came then before it goes I sneakily rush to get inside and hide.

When the truck stopped I jumped out of the truck and went to the bunch of people, then the cops suddenly saw me and take me to the foster homes. After 3 years of staying at a foster home, I don't know what happens to my uncle but all I know is that im safe and I wish he's not trying to find me. While thinking one of the nuns here called me and said that

"Someone wants to meet you" after hearing that, I hesitate first cuz' what if it was my uncle, 'did he just find me?' ,

'What am I going to do now?',

"They are nice," she said while genuinely smile at me then I hold her hand and go with her to the office to meet them.

They are a married couple who don't have a child so they are here to adopt and they choose me, after filling up my adoption paper I happy to meet my new parents and they thought me many things. While thinking about what happened years ago, suddenly a snapped in front of my face makes me back to the present. Then I realized I was cleaning the store and bout to close but seems like I waste an hour again by just remembering the miserable things that just happened in my life, and I didn't know that the one who interrupted me, us the one who will change my whole life.
