I ran out of the coffee shop near the company, holding two cups of coffee and a sandwich. I have ten minutes to get to the office and deliver Mr Williams his breakfast. I entered the company and ran to the elevator which opened the second I got there, oh thank God.

I made my way towards Mr Williams office which is located at the top floor, when I finally got to the door which say CEO, I knocked. I heard a loud “come in”, I opened the door and entered.

“Good morning sir”, I said as I walked to his large mahogany desk where I placed his breakfast.

I brought out his schedule for today and read to him; “Today you have a meeting with Mr Austin by 1pm regarding the signing of the contract, I have already made a reservation at your favourite restaurant. You have a meeting with Mr Black, I have some documents that have been thoroughly examined that you need to sign, and you have to go shopping with Cindy”.

He finally looked at me when I was done speaking and said, “You were a minute late. You can`t keep making these stupid mistakes, you should know by now that I don`t tolerate lateness even if it`s for a fucking minute” oh he is yelling now.

“Get out and bring me another coffee, this one is already cold”.

I quickly left his office and brought him a new cup of coffee, then he gave me some new documents to work on for the day.

I went to my own office to start working on those documents, finally some peace and quiet, at least he didn`t throw his coffee at me this time, I thought.

This has been my life for the past 5 years, my name is Kiara Knight, I work in Williams industries as the personal assistant to the CEO of the company. I know almost everything about Mr Williams, but I don`t think he knows my first name. He is just so rude and arrogant.

I was working on the documents Mr Williams gave me when my alarm rang, it was 12:30pm, I went to Mr Williams office to inform him that we had 30 minutes to get to the restaurant for the meeting with Mr Austin. We left the company and Mr Williams chauffeur drove us to the restaurant.

When we got to the restaurant, we went inside and the manager came up to us, “Hello Mr Williams, your table is this way” she led us to our table where we saw Mr Austin already seated.

Mr Williams first spoke, “Good afternoon Mr Austin, I hope you didn`t wait long for us”

“Oh no, matter of fact I just got here too” we took our seats and Mr Williams said “Ok, let’s get down to business”

While they spoke about the contract between their companies, I took down notes. They got to a point of agreement, signed the contract and shook hands.

I and Mr Williams went back to the company after saying goodbye to Mr Austin. When we got back, I went to my office to continue working on the documents Mr Williams gave me. I was still working on the documents, when I heard the clicking of heels coming towards my office.

I looked and saw that it was Cindy Jade, Mr Williams latest fling. She came into my office and said, “Hi Ms. Kim, I’m here to see Brandy, we are going shopping today so do your job and tell him I`m here”.

I looked at her and thought, who the hell does she think she is and what in the world is she wearing. She looks like a slut wearing that short skirt and bra like top. She isn`t even wearing a jacket.

I was brought back from my mind ranting when I heard a clicking in my face, I looked up and saw Cindy clicking her fingers in my face. I quickly got up and said, “I`m so sorry I`ll call Mr Williams right now”. I was going to Mr Williams office when I heard her say, “You better”

I told Mr Williams that his girlfriend was here. He got up and said he`ll not be back for today and I should complete the work he was doing, then he left with Cindy.

I left the office by 10pm once I was done with all my work and Mr Williams unfinished work.

I know it`s late, but what can I do, I really need this job. I hate my life sometimes.
