Tonia and Vanessa were best friends and roommates. They were both beautiful and it was usually had to say one was more beautiful than the other. Both had brown hair and slim body. They were also club girls and even met at a club in their first year in college. Tonia was from an average family but Vanessa on the other hand was from a super rich family. Vanessa took care of most of their expenses because her parents always sent in money. However, she had refused to see them in years and has been living far away from them. Her parents lived in Canada but she was studying in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Tonia was the kind of girl that you could describe as gold digger. She only went for what was of benefit to her. Vanessa on the other hand, wasn't like that. She was always contented and was never seen been desperate over anything. Although, some people said she was only like that because she was rich and if she was to be poor, she'd be just like her friend Tonia.

“hey! Hand me my bra!” Tonia yelled from the bathroom

“what in the world are you using a bra to do in the bathroom!?” Vanessa yelled back

“not your business! Just give me!” Tonia answered, still in a yell. Vanessa groaned, not wanting to stand up from her dressing table. She was trying to get the perfect curve on her eyebrows.

She reluctantly walked to the hanger and unhooked Tonia's bra. She took it and knocked on the door to the bathroom. It opened and Tonia's hand popped out only

“give me” her voice said

“is there something you're hiding?” Vanessa asked and tried to peep. Tonia's head popped out, startling Vanessa.

“hey!” she yelled

“just give me my bra. And excuse me” she collected the bra and closed the door.

“eish” Vanessa mumbled and walked back to the table. She sat down and began to work on her makeup again until she was satisfied with how she looked.

Tonia had come out of the bathroom with her bra on and a towel wrapped around her body.

“did you hide something in the bra?” Vanessa asked without looking at her. She knew Tonia well enough to know she had hid drugs in the bra. She had done that before and got into trouble with the guy she was to sell it to. He wasn't going to pay her but harm her and run away with it. He almost succeeded in really harming her, but Vanessa who happened to be around that corner sighted them and hit a plank of wood on the man's head before he could stab Tonia.

“well, I did. But it's just cigarettes” Tonia said

“I thought you quit”

“maybe I didn't”

“you told me you quit, Tonia” Vanessa said and Tonia rolled her eyes

“you're going to yell at me again. Exactly what I was trying to avoid” she said sarcastically

“it's your life. I don't have a say in it” Vanessa said and applied lipstick on her lips. Tonia smiled and began to apply lotion. It wasn't cigarettes she was hiding, it was coc.aine and she was going to sell it to a guy at the club they were getting ready to go.

After few more minutes of dressing up, they were ready.

“whoaa I look like the ba.ddest b.itch in town! Whooo” Tonia squealed and began to move her waist in different directions

“yeah baby! You do! You're so hot” Vanessa said and joined Tonia in her dance

“I bet I'm gonna get the richest dude tonight” Tonia said and Vanessa laughed

“just don't get into the wrong hands” Vanessa said and picked up her hand bag

“I won't. But I won't mind being a mistress to a mafia lord. It'll be fun you know”

“you're so freaking stupid” Vanessa said jokingly and they laughed over it and headed out.

Vanessa had a car and they always used it for their movements.

When they got to the club, Tonia disappeared into the crowd. Vanessa suddenly felt lazy and not willing to dance, she went to the bar.

“can I get something hot Darrel!” she yelled over to the bartender

“the usual?” he asked as he filled a glass for a young man

“I don't know, just gimme something” she said again and moved closer to him

“you just arrived, you're not gonna dance?” he asked as he filled a glass for her

“no. I'm not in the mood” she said and took the glass. She then walked over to a corner and sat down.

“hey babe. Wanna dance?” a guy asked. She didn't bother to look

“no” she answered and walked away from there. She sat at another corner and gulped down the whole drink. She watched as Tonia was busy rubbing her dancing figure against a tall, blonde guy. She chuckled and closed her eyes. She was getting dull and dizzy already

“what in the world did Darrel give me?” she asked herself, wondering why she was already getting drunk with just one glass.

She opened her eyes and rubbed them. She groaned and held unto a table. She decided to go back to the bar and ask for water but she bumped into a table and almost fell. Almost fell because someone had grabbed her waist and stopped her from falling. She opened her eyes but couldn't see him clearly.

“I'm really going to sue Darrel for whatever he gave me” she thought

“you said you wanted something hot, I hope you like what I asked him to give you” a male voice said to her. It was the guy who had helped her from falling, the same guy Darrel was attending to before her, the very same guy who made Darrel give her the strange alcohol

Vanessa was going to say something when she blacked out.

The strange man scoffed

“woman are too weak” he said and carried her out.

Vanessa woke up in a large bed unclad, but she was covered by thick warm blankets. She sat up and groaned when a piercing pain struck her forehead like lightening.

“morning” a masculine voice said beside her on the bed. She looked and was startled.

“don't get frightened. I'm good looking” the man said and ran his fingers through his hair. He had golden strands

“who... are you?” she managed to ask

“ouch, you don't remember me?” he asked in a funny way

She raised a brow and waited for him to clarify her.

“well, I'm Sebastian Monroe. And you are?” he asked

“did you take me from the clubhouse?” she asked

“wow. That's the longest name I've ever heard. Did you take me from the clubhouse? I'll call you Did You” he said. Then he took her hand in a handshake

“it's nice to meet you Did You” he said again and Vanessa snatched her hand

“you're having a hangover I guess. You can wash up. When you're done, wear a bathrobe and come down for a meal that can cure your hangover” he said and he stepped down from the bed. He was wearing shorts and that was how he left the room.

“how did I meet this guy?” she asked herself

“what happened last night?” she asked herself again. After few minutes of pondering about the events of the previous night, she got off the bed after a failed attempt at trying to remember.

She went to the bathroom, cleaned up and came back to the room only to meet breakfast in bed
