I have to feeling now .

happy and sad at the same time .

I'm sad because I have to be away from my family and my son , for the first time .

On the other side of my emotions I also feel happy , because I finally got a job and I can finally wipe my mum's tears away.

When I look at my mum , she raised us me and my young brother blessing.

on her own I remember she was not working at all . she used to sell vegetable at the market .she raised us

using social Grant money , when our father went to gauteng province to search for a job but we just had by rumours that he marry another woman , and they're living a good life so after all the struggle that she went through. am going to wipes all her tiers away now that I finally got a job .

but still I have to live away from them , which make me sad but my young brother blessing . he keep on encouraging me telling me that hope his going to be ok. with mum , as she have raised us to be who we are today so I must not worry it will be ok.... for the first time I'm moving out of this Giyani town to malamulele town as there is no straight transport to take me to Thohoyando town.

I'm inside the taxi , but my brain keep on going back home back to my family as I remember them , waving goodbye I really never thought that I would be separated from my son . but I have to in order to provide for him now . I keep on looking outside through the window I can see the sign board of muswana Village , but the driver keep on driving straight we have we passed a lot of Village until we arrive in malamulele town . so I paid the driver doing R20.00.

and he told me that I must take another taxi that is going to Thohoyando town ,I did so on my way to Thohoyando I can't stop myself from thinking about them but I realised that the language on a taxi have changed .

they are now speaking in Venda , and I don't even understand anything and also my back hurt and numb . because I have sit too long , I looked through the window I started to see this beautiful, beautiful Dam of nandoni dam still the driver still driving straight .

But after the end of nandoni dam the road started to cerve little.

It was long drive to me , knowing that I will be facing this road when I visit my son at home every month end.

after roaming around...and I feel so nervous because I don't know how to speak in Venda oh s*** I'm doomed , I keep asking myself how I'm going to ask around, if I can't speak the language how am I going to also to ask for Direction , so I decided to call the office and inform them that I have arrived. so they are sending someone to come and fetch me the moment I come out of the bus taxi .the company just give me phone number of the driver problem solved now. when they say that everything happens for the reason sometimes we wonder what are the reason when we..busy struggling. one benefit of this campay that I will be joining is the accommodation which is free so I don't have to struggle about the rent , of accommodation . so I called the driver immediately when I come out of the taxi. it did not take too long when I see the company logo place on the car written in bold BLACK DIAMOND construction

I can't believe, I will be staying in here this place is so amazing. it was beyond my imagination it look like an expensive one I open the door and I get out I took out my luggage , with me but when I was doing that l feel my waist hurt , and the driver Joe. help me with my luggage and walk with me to the security gate and which they ask my ID card, so I give it to them and Joe explain something to them so they started to point into the receptionist and then he Lead Me to the receptionist lady , and Joe the driver introduced me to the receptionist lady she was only her early thirties and her name was Caroline then she also asked for my ID after checking something on a computer kateko Sharon bila.hire is your key to your new house miss bila. And then she direct me to my new house it was room number seven.

After signing some document given to me . Joe was still by my side he took my luggage and help me to my new so-called house and he stand on the door , of my house and after that he" said have good day miss Bila."

I nod my head in understanding then I thanked him

When I open the door.

o-my-god this place it was amazing , it was two bedroom with bathroom and I kitchen that is connected to a small sitting room. after looking around and going to check all the rooms I was so excited, because I was just used to outside door bath room back home. so right now I was having an inside bathroom please don't laugh please I quickly took my phone and start taking pictures of the place , and send it to my young brother blessing on Whatsapp I also make a video call and I start talking to my family I wanted to talk to them while I was still on a taxi but I did not want to cry along the way immediately when I send the pictures my young brother respond by calling me so we did video call stuff and he was so happy and l was also happy to .....

and I can see hope my son I'm sure that we must be confused

After along conversation with my family i started unpacking soon after that I decided to go straight to bathroom .

After bathing I wear my undergarments and l went straight to bed.

SUTUDAY MORNING

l woke up around around 8:00 in the morning

I did my business of the day by preparing my bed after that I decided to go straight to bathroom after brushing my teeth and bathing I came out of the bathroom wearing my towel And I started to wear my undergarments so decided to wear my black jeans with my creem white blouse for my face I just did foundation and mascara which makes my grey eyes look good and l also applied my Brown lipstick for my hair am having big afro hair

After that I went straight to the kitchen and have two glasses of water.

For the shoes am wearing black sneakers.

After making sure that I have my hand bag with me I went out side of my apartments

I started to walk straight to the mall after moving around just looking there the shops during the window shopping I decided to buy some few clothing just appropriate for work after that I decided to close I'm buying the groceries and the cleaning material after doing the grocery stuff I tell that to go to the salon I did long braid hair style it was so long Brown dark in in colour

I was holding a lot of plastic bag so I decided to take a taxi after arriving at my apartment I saw that clean the fridge everything you know I'm placing everything in order

So in the morning I did not eat anything cuz I didn't have anything in the fridge so right now coming back from town I brought myself some takeaway food so I decided to go and take and glass of water and sit in a table and just enjoy my meal

My phone started to ring while I was still enjoying my meal .so I went straight to it thinking that is my mom or blessing but no is my high school friend Tina

Tina : yes you don't call me so I decided to check on you are feeling okay

Tina : am home in Giyani am just shocked am with blessing and hope ... wow hope is a man. you know he can call my name saying auntie Tina

Kateko: am in vhenda in Thohoyando.

After conversation with my old friend I maneged to speak with my son hope and blessing I was so happy but l keep wondering what surprise she have for me she is working in cape town .she just graduated last year

After having small conversation with Caroline l went inside my house and lock

Friday ok thanks knowing you and then she was about to to say something and her phone started ringing and then she just wave to me goodbye and I gave her a smile this place is really quiet it seems like everyone they mind their own business don't get me wrong I love a quiet place because of I'm not that person who will just go and stay with friends or something like that or go out with friend

Joe: tomorrow morning be ready around 6o'clock when i go with the other staff members that live hire to work you can join us

Kateko: ohh okay so all the staff members they live here all of them

Joe: not all of them because they are locals they stay in their own house with their own. In this hostel only those who are coming far away just like you miss Bila

Kateko : ok understand now so how many people are you taking I mean are you driving time to work

Joe: here in this hostel there is five but it's not my duty 2 take me to take the pill to work it's just that I also stay here and the car was is with me so every time I go to work I just go with them I hope you understand what I'm trying to say

After listening to music on my radio I decided to go inside the room and I locked the door, went straight to the kitchen and l decided to just make myself something to eat . so I decided to go with porridge and beef after eating my meal. I call my mum and we just have a small conversation, she was asking me how is the place and the people are they kind and then I ask about hope she told me that he is asleep so after that call my mum I went straight to sleep
