As Arya slowly shook her head to the music, she stared at her colleagues, happily chatting.

Even though she wasn't used to such parties, she attended because it was the company that she worked at anniversary.

The party theme was "Elegant," so she had to dress accordingly. But Arya felt uneasy in a fancy dress and heels since she hardly ever wears them.

However, because of the party, she used some of her last month's pay to purchase her outfit, and although she didn't feel comfortable in the gown, she looked gorgeous in it, and her glamorous makeup made her entire look stunning.

"Arya," Emma called out.

Swaying her gaze to her, Arya faintly smiled and mumbled, "Yes,"

"You haven't touched your drink yet? What's wrong?" Emma asked, staring at her with a look of concern in her eyes.

"Oh, I don't drink."

"What!"

When her colleagues stared wide-eyed at her, Arya lowered her gaze to the floor, feeling a bit awkward.

"Who doesn't drink?!" Amelia asked out loud, raising her brows.

"Me," Arya muttered as she slightly lifted her hand in the air.

Then she let out a harsh breath, clutched her fingers together, and said, "It's not like I can not drink. It is because I get drunk so easily that I stop drinking."

Looking away from Arya, Emma cunningly gazed at Ava.

Then both of them stared at each other for a couple of seconds before swaying their gaze back on Arya.

"No, no, no! I know that mischievous look in you two eyes! I'm not drinking!" Arya hastily said, creating an X with her hands.

Twenty minutes later, Arya was chucking down a glass of wine, and she didn't stop until the glass was empty.

"I can't believe I let you bitches talk me into drinking!" Arya loudly said, giggling as she squeezed her eyelid shut.

With a touch of worry in her eyes, Mia looked at Emma and said, "She wasn't kidding. That's just one glass of red wine, and she already looks like she's drunk."

"I know, right," Amelia mumbled, looking at Arya with her lips slightly parted.

When Arya loudly chuckled, Emme faintly laughed and uttered, "I like drunk Arya more than her normal, boring self."

"What's that supposed to mean!?" Arya suddenly asked with a straight face.

No one in the group spoke because all of them were shocked by the quick change in her expression.

"No-thing. I was just pulling your leg." Emma hastily intoned.

It grew awkward among them, and a few minutes went by with them drinking in silence.

Then Amelia gently tapped Mia's shoulder and mumbled, "He's here."

"Who's here?" Emma anxiously asked.

Looking in the direction of where Amelia was staring, Ava bit her bottom lip and then said, "Our boss."

Out of curiosity, Arya looked back, and her gaze rested on a well-built guy, wearing a suit that looked like it cost a fortune.

"He's a hunk," Emma whispered with a touch of lust in her gaze.

Giggling like a happy fool, Amelia rested her cheek on her fist and muttered, "He's such a dreamboat."

"A total hottie!" Mia murmured with dreamy eyes.

"You all know that he's gay, right?" Domino abruptly uttered before taking a sip of her wine.

Everyone slowly turned their head and then glared at her. Yet, they all believe that he was except for Arya.

Frowning slightly, she looked at her boss and then stared back at her colleagues, narrowing her eyes at them.

"Him? There's no way he's gay. He looks more of a player." Ayra boldly intoned.

"Then how come he has never gotten seen with a woman! Not even once!" Emma said.

"He's just good at keeping his life private, I guess."

"Nah. That dude is gay!"

"He's not!"

"He is,"

"Not!"

Annoyed, Ava crossed her arms and firmly uttered, "If you want us to believe you, kiss him, and if he doesn't freak out, then he's not gay."

If Arya had been in her right mind, she would have replied, "Even a straight man will freak out if some random woman kissed him."

But since she was intoxicated, she jumped to her feet and boldly stated, "Fine! I will prove it to you guys then."

Afterward, she walked away, and Emma was about to go after her and stop her when Ava grabbed her wrist and said, "Let's wait to see what happens."

When Arya was just a few feet away from Vyn, she stopped in her tracks and hesitated.

In that instant, his gaze locked with hers, and Arya felt like her feet got glued to the floor.

For a few seconds, she looked at him, judging if she should make her move. But when Arya saw his eyes darkened, she bit her bottom lip and thought, 'Well, I'm not that drunk now! Time to get out of here!'

Then she was about to turn around when she tripped on her gown, bumped into Vyn, and her lips pressed against his.

Everyone in the ballroom was stunned as they gazed at the both of them.

"Damn, she actually did it!" Domino said, staring with her lips slightly parted.

Pouting, Emma gave Arya an icy stare and mumbled, "And he's not pushing her off him!"

"Soo… He's not gay." Ava murmured, raising a brow.

A sigh escaped Mia's lips, and she muttered, "From the looks of it, he's not."

As the color drained from her face, Arya's eyes widened while she gazed into Vyn's cold blue eyes.

Then she swallowed the lump in her throat as her heart stumbled over its own rhythm.

Pulling her head back, Arya tried to get off Vyn. But she suddenly felt a manly hand on her waist, preventing her from getting off him.

'He's so freaking strong!' Arya cried in her head, struggling to break free from his grip. 'Why isn't he letting go!'

Then she froze when Vyn drew toward her ear and gently blew on it.

A ticklish feeling traveled through Arya as her muscles stiffened, and she blinked excessively while gazing at him.

"Don't you want to know if I'm gay or not?" Vyn whispered into her ear with a half-smile on his lips.

'Did he hear our discussion? But how!' Arya thought as her eyes took on a haunted look.

Tightening his grip on her waist, Vyn smirked when her body pressed against his, and he felt her hot breath against his neck.

"You know kissing isn't the only way you can find that out. Should we kick it up a notch?" Vyn softly uttered, lowering his hand further down her waist.

"People are watching us." Arya cried, barely able to get the words out.

"We can leave here then,"

"Sir, please let go of me. I'm sorry for kissing you. I promise that it was because I was drunk, and I don't have any ill intention towards you."

A sense of relief coursed through Arya when she suddenly felt Vyn's grip on her waist loosen a bit. But then her heart skipped a beat the moment he looked into her eyes.

"Why are you playing the victim? You were the one who took advantage of me." Vyn said with a straight face. "And now you want to leave after arousing me!"

'What the hell!' Arya loudly cried in her head as she smiled spastically. 'This is while I should never drink! Why did you have to drink that damn wine, stupid!'

Pouting, Arya tilted her head down and looked up at Vyn with a touch of innocence in her eyes before pleadingly saying, "Boss, this is all a misunderstanding."

"You are the first," Vyn said, hesitating for a moment.

"Huh!"

"You stole my first kiss."

Speechless, Arya darted her gaze left and right as she thought, 'What?! Is he some kind of older version of a high school teen!'

"Since you are my first, you should take responsibility," Vyn said with the utmost seriousness in his tone.

'Okay, it's official! My boss is a shameless freak!' Arya yelled in her head.

Seeing the touch of hesitation on her face, Vyn furrowed his brows and coldly uttered, "You are not thinking about not owning up to your responsibility, right?!"

'Will he fire me if I don't agree to his nonsense!?' Arya thought, looking into Vyn's cold gaze. 'I really need this job, and from the look of it, he definitely will kick me out if I refuse.'

With a trace of hesitation in her eye, Arya gave Vyn an uncertain smile and said, "Of course not. If you want me to take responsibility, I will."

In that instant, Vyn's mood lightened. Then he held Arya tightly into his arms and mumbled, "Good."

'He's going to get bored soon and forget about me. Right! Ummm, this is just a moment of excitement for him.'

At that moment, Arya's face went blank, and she dug her nails into her palm when Vyn brought his face closer to her neck and drew a deep breath.

'Did he just sniff me? He freaking sniffed me! What is he? A dog!' Arya screamed in her head as she strived not to panic.

Inhaling her scent for the second time, Vyn slightly smirked and silently mouthed, "My mate."
