Scarlett woke up cheerfully this next morning. It was her first day of school so she was in a happy mood. She got fresh and put on the school's uniform, she stuff her books I'm her bag and went in the common room. There she meet Barrie.

"Good morning Barrie." She greeted her.

"Good morning Scarlett. I got our timetable. Here." She said handling her the timetable.

"Thanks, let's see which is my first class. Oh its Devination." She said.

"Yep. We have this subject this year onwards." She said.

"Okay but first I am hungry. Let's go for breakfast" She said and Barrie nodded. They walk in the great hall and sat on the Slytherin table. There she saw her favourite French toast with Bacon. She grab it but someone else also wanted it. She looked at the boy. He was fat with dark hair.

"You want it?" She asked.

"Yes but seeing you already had it." He said. She gave him a warm smile and passed the plate to him.

"I would like to go with pancakes." She said and grabbed the pancakes plate.

"Thank you. I am Vincent Crabbe by the way." He said extending his hand.

"Scarlett Stark. Nice to meet you Vin." She said shaking his hand then went back to eating her pancake. She recognized that Barrie was starting at her. She looked at her.

"What?!" She questioned.

"You just befriended a enemy." She said in low voice.

"An enemy?! I don't get it." She asked.

"He is friends with Draco Malfoy. The biggest bully of the school and enemy of Harry Potter. You better stay away from them." She whispered.

"Well I don't came here to make enemies or to bully someone, I came here to study. And I don't care what others say." She replied

"Don't say I didn't warn you." Barrie said and continued eating.

"Don't worry I won't." She said and continued too.

After breakfast she went to her first class Devination. She walked in the class and saw Harry and Ron. Harry waved at her to sit with them. She excused Barrie and went up to them.

"Good morning guys." She greeted.

"Morning. Well we see you sorted in Slytherin." Ron said.

"Well yes. Is that supposed to bad?" She asked.

"No. Not at all. But most students in Slytherin are enemies with Griffindor." Harry said.

"Does that make me your enemy?" She asked again.

"No. You are different then them." He said.

"Well thanks. Where's Hermione?" She asked.

"Don't know." Ron say and the professor entered. She then walk up to Barrie and sat opposite to her.

"Welcome my children. In this class you are going to study the art of Devination. Together we will look into the future." The professor said and bumped in the table.

"Hello. My I am professor Trewalney. I gonna teach you the art to look in the future. Today we gonna study the art of reading tea leaves, come on grab your partner's cup and look." She said.

She grabbed Barrie's cup and she took Scarlett's. In Barrie's cup she read she gonna have a happy moments with someone. She hear professor gasp, she looked up. She walked up to Scarlett.

"What a strange magic you have my child." She said. She looked at her confused. She grabbed my cup from Barrie and looked in it.

"You are very special and extraordinary." She said and put the cup back on the table and walked away. Scarlett grabbed her cup and looked into it. She didn't read anything special. 'What does she mean that I am special?' She thought then they hear professor let out a small scream. Everyone turned yo her.

"My child, you…you have the Grim." Professor said to Harry.

"Grin? What's a grin?" Someone asked.

"Its Grim you stupid." Other boy said.

"It's the darkest omens of our world. The omen of death." A boy read out from the book. Soon the class ended and they headed for Care of Magical Creatures class.

"What do you think about the Grim?" Barrie asked.

"It maybe or may be not very bad to Harry." Scarlet replied.

"OK then what she told about your extraordinary powers." She asked.

"Well promise you won't tell to anyone." She said.

"I promise." She replied.

"I will show you tonight in our dorm." She said.

"Oh come just a small one Scarlet." She said.

"Okay. Don't freak out." She warned and turned to her. She took a deep breathe and her eyes turned scarlet red. Barrie gasped. Her eyes turned back to their brown hue.

"So you fancy Harry Potter?" Scarlet asked. Barrie gasped and covered her mouth.

"Don't say it out loud." She said and moved her hand away from her mouth.

"I won't." Scarlet said and continued walking.

"Well how in the Merlin's name you knew about it?" She asked.

"I read your mind. Its one of my powers." Scarlet said.

"So you have more. I am impressed." Barrie said. Soon they reached to Hagrid's hut.

"Come closer. Talk less I have a treat for you all. Come on follow me." He said and started to walk in the forest and they followed.

"Come on. And open page 49 if your book." Hagrid said

"And how exactly we are supposed to do that?" Draco asked.

"Just stroke the spine of course." Hagrid replied and Draco stroked the spine. Neville opened the book without stroking so the book attacked him and ripped his sweater.

"I am okay. I am okay." He said then it attacked again.

Scarlet and Barrie walked up to Harry and his friends and kept their bags on the big rock.

"This is funny." Hermione said.

"Oh yea very funny. Just let my dad hear about it that Dumbledor is attaining his ofs to teach us." Draco said.

"Shut up Malfoy." Harry said and walked up to him. He and his friends 'ooed' Draco handed his bag to Crabbe and walked up to Harry. He looked behind Harry and made a scary face.

"Dementor, dementor." He said.

Harry and others looked back and saw nothing. He looked back at Draco and he and his friends put their hoods up and started scaring Harry.

Hermione walked up to Harry and pulled him away giving them a nasty look. Hagrid came back with a creature.
