Today was Rachel's birthday.

She wanted to confess to Ross directly, so she drank some wine.

After the crowd dispersed, she bolstered her courage, dispatched the babysitter and servant, took off her high heels, and sneaked into Ross's room.

Ross also drank a lot of wine, causing his brain to ache slightly. However, this did not affect his thought. In just a second, he knew what this woman wanted to do.

Huh, for the sake of the Bagots, she was even willing to do this. He really underestimated her.

"Rachel, do you know what you're doing?" He looked at her condescendingly, his dark eyes, faint lips, and silhouette were perfect.

However, if one looked carefully, one would find that his pupils were filled with coldness.

"Yes." But Rachel couldn't care much.

"Rachel, there are something that once you make a choice, you will have no way out."

"What?"

Rachel was a little confused.

Early in the morning.

When Rachel opened her eyes, the position beside her was already empty.

She regained her senses for a while before she got up from bed, her body aching endlessly.

She reached out her hands to grab the robe beside the bed, but a slender finger pressed down on the robe first.

She raised her head and saw the handsome face that made her fall into a daze.

Ross had just walked out of the bathroom and was dressed neatly. Even though she had known Rachel for several years, she would still be stunned by the eye—catching man in front of her. It was still as if it was the first time she had seen him. Her heart was beating nervously.

"When did you wake up?"

Ross did not answer, his thin lips curled into a line, making people feel cold.

Rachel was stunned, and her hands that were holding the bathrobe tightened uncontrollably.

He looked somewhat unhappy.

"Ross, what's wrong? Are you uncomfortable..."

As she spoke, she stretched out her hand, wanting to touch his forehead. However, the moment her fingertips touched his forehead, her wrists were grabbed and the distance between them was shortened.

Ross bent down slightly and put his face close to hers. "Rachel, it's really hard for you to perform a play for more than ten years. But if you continue to perform it until now, it will only make people feel disgusted, do you understand?"

The man's voice was deep, but it was like a sharp blade that made the last trace of blood on Rachel's face faded completely.

"Disgusting?!" She bit her lip and looked at him in disbelief, "I don't quite understand what you mean... Did you blame me for coming to your room last night? But you..."

He obviously liked it.

"How is it?"

He stared at her, the corner of his mouth curving. "As a businessman, I never refuse to things that are delivered to me. You're not the only woman who wants to be with me. Rachel, you're not even the one that I am satisfied with the most."

The insult in his words was like a knife stabbing straight into her heart.

It made Rachel feel uncomfortable.

After a while, she woke up from his sudden indifference and asked in a trembling voice, "Do you mean that you don't like me at all? Then last night..."

"Huh..."

Ross raised his eyebrows as if he had heard a joke. His eyes revealed a trace of mockery, "Do you like it? Do you think you're worthy of it?"

"Rachel, you're too confident!"

She was stunned.

Ross left. It was clearly his residence, but he slammed the door and left.

Rachel was left alone in the room for a long time without regaining her senses.

Hearing the car engine ringing in the yard, she suddenly regained her senses, wrapped up in a bathrobe and chased after him without wearing any shoes.

Ross sat in the driver's seat and just as he turned his head, Rachel, who had rushed out of the villa, blocked his car.
