"I can't believe you would decide that for me" she says and he looks at her unbothered

"How could you do this to me" she says with a cracky voice

"You know this city is all I ever wanted to protect" he looks at her

"Ameth...." He says looking at her

"No" she says stoping him while shaking her head

"I won't go..who gave you the right to decide what's best for me?..I know what's best for me and staying here it's the best" she says raising her voice and he looks at her stunned cause it's the first time he has ever heard her shout

"You have no choice detective, they asked for one of our best here and we all agreed that you are" he says avoiding her gaze and she chuckles

"Here" he throws the envelope across the table and she blinks away the tears biting her lower lip. She takes it and opens the envelope. Her eyes meets a flight ticket to Greystone and a transfer, she puts them back in the envelope.

"Your flight is in 2hours, I'll send you some cash to help you settle" he says and she looks at him in disbelief

"Please don't do this, you know how much I hate relocating. You know my plan I grew up Infront of you, and this" she says hitting the envelope on the desk

"that you are offering me it's not part of it" she says and her eyes itch as tears fill her eyes

"I'm not sorry for doing this and one day you'll thank me, you need this change more than anyone Amethyst" he says brushing her hands. To him it also wasn't an easy decision to take but she needed it after seeing her parents being brutally killed Infront of her she never went outside this town. She'll have to forgive him cause he's doing it for her.

"I'll never forgive you for this" she says standing up grabbing the envelope as tears roll down her. She turns her back on him wiping her tears then walk out the station. She feels like turning back looking at her workplace and colleagues but she won't give them the satisfaction of seeing her breaking down. She raise her head high and walk with confidence going in her car then start the car driving off to the airport.

They want her to start afresh she will do exactly just that leaving everything behind never looking back. She takes her phone calling her friend

"Hey...I'm going somewhere...yess I'll be back...please come take my car at the airport......yeah now...yes I'm leaving now....cool watch my place and take care of my car...love you byee" she drops the call and release a heavy sigh.

Amethyst clear her car taking everything she may need. She waits for her friend at the entrance tapping her foot impatiently. After twenty minutes she sees her approaching, she checks her watch..okay thirty five minutes left before she depart.

"Hey" her friend says smile and she nods throwing the keys to her.

"Uhu not even a goodbye Stacey I love you and a hug" she says knowing very well thats not possible not her she doesn't do that.

"Bye Stacey" she says side hugging her and quickly move back her friend chuckles

"Come give Stacey a kiss" she says pissing her

"Don't push it" Amethyst says rolling her eyes leaving her there

"Take care of my baby or I'll slit your throat" she shouts and her friend waves shaking her head.

The people around her look at her weirdly she shoots them a deadly look walking inside the airport.

"Greystone here I come" she sadly says
