"100, 200, 300..."

In the kitchen of a fast food restaurant, James Smith was carefully counting the salary again and again that he had earned by doing a part-time job recently.

It was still not enough to pay the medical expenses.

After he deducted his living expenses and the saving he prepared to repay the student loan after graduation, the rest of the money could afford to pay for the medical bills for his adoptive mother to receive treatment in the hospital for a period of time.

James went to the busy main road from the kitchen of the fast food restaurant. The streets were full of people who were shopping for the coming festival. They all looked carefree.

He wrapped his clothes around him tightly and held the kraft bag with his hands. There was his today's first also last meal in it.

There were two sandwiches given by the manager of the restaurant out of sympathy.

On the way, James was still thinking about the illness of his adoptive mother. He was wondering if he should do a part-time job at night. Although he would be more tired, he would earn more at least!

James hesitated when he lowered his head to look at his thin body.

"Hey, man, please! I only need one coin!"

James suddenly heard the sound on the road. He turned around and saw an old man in a dirty coat leaning against the steps. In front of him, there was a paper box for begging. And next to him, there was a gray and stray yellow dog.

James hesitated without looking back. He turned around and continued to walk forward. He could not even support himself. How could he be able to help others now?

He wondered whether his adoptive mother would be cured if he did good deeds and prayed for her piously.

James felt frustrated because tens of thousands of dollars for the surgery cost were too much for him. He didn't know what to do but could only build his hope on God. He hoped that he could touch God through what he did!

When James came back again, he squatted down and gently placed the paper bag which contained two sandwiches in front of the tramp. James didn't say anything.

The man looked up at James and said, "Thanks a lot. God bless you!"

James nodded slightly. It was true. He could only pray for miracles now.

He then turned around, intending to go back. He hoped that he could find some biscuits left in his apartment.

"Wait! Boy!"

James suddenly heard the tramp. He turned around and saw the man's dog with an old silver pendant in its mouth.

James glanced at it. It was a triangular Eyes of Providence pendant, which could be seen everywhere. But the only special thing was that the eyeball in the middle of the pendant was inlaid with an unknown green gemstone.

He took a closer look and found that there seemed to be a bright golden light flowing in the gem.

James just gave the man two cheap sandwiches but this pendant was much more valuable. He immediately shook his head and said, "Sorry, I can't take it!"

"Boy, take it!" The man was holding a sandwich in one hand and petting the dog that had gone back with the other hand. He continued, "Thanks for your sandwiches. I told you that God will bless you!"

After saying that, the tramp stood up and left. He even didn't take the paper board and paper box for begging with him.

James was stunned for a moment. He then picked up the paper box with coins in it, trying to catch up with the man. But unexpectedly, when he turned the corner, the man disappeared!

James shook his head. He thought what happened tonight was weird!

He looked at the pendant in his hand and found the dark green eyes staring at him silently.

He got the pendant close to his eyes. He wanted to know if he got it wrong about the golden light he had seen just now.

Suddenly, the green eyeballs burst out a golden light, and the light entered James' eyes.

"Ouch, my eyes!" James felt a burning pain in his eyes. And then, tears began falling from his eyes.

James felt it took a long time, but it also seemed to be a few seconds. The burning pain instantly disappeared as if it was just an illusion.

James opened his eyes. He turned his head to look at his own eyes through the reflection of the window on the street.

Everything was normal. But occasionally, a golden light suddenly flashed in his eyes.

"Damn beggar, what's wrong with you? Move out of the way!" At this moment, there was a sharp curse.

James looked up in the direction of the voice. He saw a middle-aged woman in a red coat with a Chihuahua in her arms one or two meters away from him.

The dog bared its teeth and barked at James under the protection of its master.

"Name, Patricia Jones. Age, 42. Height, 170cm. Weight, 90kg. Residence, Stownval city... "

James was instantly astonished by the information appearing in his mind when he looked at the woman.

He moved his eyes in surprise and looked at the Chihuahua. There also appeared some information in his mind.

"Breed, Chihuahua in English, Chihuahue?oof in Spanish. Age, 2. Height, 39cm. Weight, 15 kg. The smallest dog in the world but also aggressive... "

James thought there was something wrong with his brain. He shook his head and looked again. But the middle-aged woman had already gone with the dog in her arms.

"Hey! Patricia Jones!" He somehow shouted at the back of the woman.

He wondered whether the woman would respond to him.

What exactly was the information that had just appeared in his mind?

James was sure that it was the first time that he had met the woman. But why was there her name, height, weight, and other details of the woman in his mind?

Thousands of thoughts flashed by in his mind in an instant.

The middle-aged woman who was not far away from him really stopped!

She turned around and looked at James vigilantly.

"Who are you? How do you know my name?"

A burst of ecstasy welled up. The information was true!

What the f*ck!

He didn't answer Patricia but immediately turned around to look at the things around him!

James found that as long as he stared at something for a few seconds, he could get all the information about it, including the past, present, and future. It was just like an author knew what he wrote!
