  Dawn's POV

I've uploaded a picture to my Instagram page of my recent sketch, which was a drawing of a beautiful white hair female, and it got 534 likes. Scrolling through that list, I realized I know none of those people who liked it. And those people don't know me.

They know I wear a white gold necklace with a heart-shaped diamond pendant, they know I have unusual green eyes and draws a lot. But they don't know why my parents gave me away when I was a baby, or why my boyfriend cheated on me.

They also didn't know why I keep on having the same nightmare of my death. But as I scrolled through those likes, one name caught my attention. It was Lily my caretaker's daughter.

We haven't talked in ages she was always the one who defended me when I was younger and my schoolmates would call me weird or make fun of me.

I haven't talked to Sam ever since I've moved out of his house, that was like three years ago so calling him up to ask for Lily's number just doesn't sit right with me.

So here I am stalking her Instagram account, I knew she's living in London, but that's it. Her Instagram is full of photos of her and three other people, who I presumed to be her friends.

Thereafter, adding her number to my WhatsApp contact I exited the app. Going over to my closet I began packing some clothes in my suitcase for my trip the next day, after putting all the things I would be needing I make my way over to my bed.

I was awoken by the sound of my alarm clock blaring, still half asleep I reached over to my night table and turned the annoying clock off by tapping the bottom at the top. After laying for a good two minutes I removed the duvet from my face and checked the time on my phone.

Seeing that it's almost eight o'clock and my train will be leaving at nine, and it takes me a good thirty minutes to reach the train station, I proceed to the bathroom. After my shower, I got dressed in blue skinny jeans with ripped at both knee areas, a gray shirt, and my sweatshirt sleeve hoodie denim jacket.

Throwing my brow hair in a high ponytail I grabbed my luggage, walking out of my apartment I locked the door behind me and make my way down the steps, subsequently, after hailing a cab I told the driver train station.

Sitting in my seat on the train, I took my phone from my purse and began scrolling through her photos again. The same group of three, in bars in London, skiing together in Canada, and even eating pizza in Italy. They look like they're inseparable, when I saw those photos I yearn to be close to someone.

I wished my parents never gave me away, even though Sam love me like his very own I couldn't help but feel alone.

I haven't even told Lilly that I'm visiting her, afraid she'll no longer want to see me. But I'm full of energy sitting on this train, tapping my right foot, and scrolling through Instagram to distract myself.

Closing Instagram and going over to WhatsApp, I finally decided to send her a message.

"Hey, Lilly! I miss you! I'm in London. Can we meet at...?"

After hitting send I put my phone face down on my lap, and stare out the window until it vibrated indicating I've received a message.

"Dawn!! I miss you so much! Where are you? So I can come to fetch you."

Smiling at her message I began typing; "Pulling up in London Victoria station."

"I'll be there in a few."

With a smile on my face, I turned my phone off to place it inside my purse, and as the door open, I grabbed my suitcase and duffle bag and existed to train.

Walking over to a nearby bunch I take a seat and began scrolling through my phone, after some minutes of going through some of my old sketches I heard someone called my name.

  "Dawn!"

They called once again. Lifting my hand from my phone I saw Lilly running from a distance and embrace me in a bear hug.

  "Too tight, I can't breathe."

"Sorry! But I miss you so much! I see you've bloom into a beautiful woman."

"And you haven't changed one bit," I commented with a toothy grin, the girl still looks the same with her shoulder-length brunette hair.

"But you look way older." I joked, which cause her to laugh and nudge me in the shoulder with a playful glare on her face.

"Shut up, let's go I have so much to tell you."

She said grabbing my suitcase and lacing her arm with mine, taking my duffle bag which was in place on the bench I walked with her to her car.

  We pulled up at a two-story house, which was painted in pale yellow and white;

"Wow! You have a beautiful home."

"Thanks, but it's not exactly my home, I live with three other girls: Paige, Skylar, and Nick." She explained taking my luggage from the trunk of the car.

Inside it was even more beautiful and modern, going up the stairs she led me to a white door.

"You can stay in the guest room for as long as you like, so you go settle in, and I'll make us lunch."

The room was painted in mint green, with a queen-sized bed in the middle that was neatly spread with white and green covers, there was a white table stand beside the bed with a night lamp on it, on a window was right beside the bed on the other side of the room.

In the corner was a white dresser drawer with a small glass above, besides it was a door leading to the bathroom.

The room was pretty cozy with a small flat-screen television hang to the wall, with a green and white polka dot bean chair in the corner. Therefore, after finishing folding my clothes inside the dresser drawer I make my way downstairs to find Lilly.

"Something smells good." The words flew out of my mouth before I could stop them.

"It's not much, but I've prepared your favorite dish, Apple pie." She explained putting on her hand mittens to access the oven.

"Thank you, Lilly, it's been a while since I have some."

After she has finished with the pie she placed two slices in a dish and handed it to me with a glass of Apple juice. Subsequently, after thanking her I began stuffing my face with the glory that was before me.

"Slow down, your eating like a starved person," Lilly said with a mischievous smile on her face.

"So have the nightmares stopped?" She asked.

"They did, but they have returned, that's why I'm here hoping a new scenery will change that," I murmured.

"It's going to be okay, I'm here to help," Lilly whispered.
