"This girl again, when is she ever going to learn?" Amelie said silently looking down at her phone. She wasn't shouting but the anger in her voice was evident.

Sophia who was Amelie's personal assistant shivered a little. She knew that her boss was angry and she needed to solve the issue at hand immediately. The wheels in her brain began to turn to provide a fantastic solution.

"Where is she now?" Amelie asked and Sophia looked briefly at her iPad before saying "Malaysia on a vacation"

"Why is it so hard for her to vacay in peace," Amelie asked her lips going up in a scowl. Her younger daughter had taken up the responsibility of being an influencer and dragging the family name in the mud countless times. And the mother had taken it to be her responsibility to clean up after her daughter Jeanne's mess.

"Get her back into the country this instant, stop the publications, and take down the video." Amelie shot out commands to Sophia who nodded and walked right out to go do them. Jeanne had decided that since she had no responsibility she was going to become a lifestyle influencer. Her parent's massive wealth made it easy for her to be the influencer the people loved.

She went on trips and gave beauty and lifestyle tips and product recommendations. It was all okay until she started making certain videos that touched some races or groups of people which made people troll her and affected Malkovich's business. Now she had posted a video that seems to degrade the people of Malaysia.

The wheels in Amelie's head began to spin. The company The Blue Horizon was going to launch a new product in a few days and this video could affect their global sales her husband would not be glad neither would her son who had worked hard to produce their new phone. For anything, all they needed was to break into the market with their new product and make enough sales. They needed something big to cover up the mishap with their youngest daughter.

Sophia walks back into the room with a slight frown on her face. She has been able to get the video off her page but it was already circulating chat rooms and blogs. The headlines were maddening that Sophia dared not show her boss. She could have her daughter locked up at home for a while. Amelie feels her phone vibrates in her hand and hears it ring out. The screen lights up with her husband name Marc Malkovich, she shuddered in fear and slowly puts the phone to her ears.

"I told you to put your daughter on a leash if need be" Marc thundered. It was not the first time that Jeanne had done something like such. She had countless times done things that leaves everyone at home scrambling to clean up the mess." She's now a racist?" he followed up with a question when he was met with dead silence on the other line. "Fix it" he finished and it the call without waiting for a response.

Sophia hesitated if she should keep updating her. Everyone knows that Mr. Marc Malkovich was a calm person but was always tense around product launches. He must be tense because they had been working extra hard to launch the product. They had been trying to get their phone earlier to the marketplace to have the advantage over their competitors. He must be tense. Jeanne's attitude at the moment was highly not acceptable. Sophia looks down at her iPad and looks back up at her boss. She was gripping her phone tightly and her face was flushed in annoyance.

Amelie was a prim and proper woman. Her hair with little grey already taking roots in them and was neatly packed into a bun that lay at the base of her hair. Her brown eyes shone from underneath the glasses that sat on her nose bridge. She had been her husband's support like every other woman in her class group. Sophia knew that she was up for a long ride. "Jeanne just boarded the flight back," Sophia said and saw Amelie ease her grip on the phone. She stood from the chair she has been sitting in all this while and started walking out with Sophia on her tail.

"I'll be a laughing stock in Greenriff City" Amelie exclaimed lowly but audible enough to be heard.

"What do you think we can use to cover up this racist talk?" she added. Although she was furious the deed had been done. It's not reversible but it can ease the tension and create back a good public image.

"What of an apology video?" Sophia asked. She might as well start at the top of the list she had made to solve the situation at hand.

"Might not be well received by the folks" Amelie responded. She wanted to make sure they did the damage control once and that it made enough impact on the people. She thought about her other children and how well-behaved they were. Her son Forest had been very vital in executing the product. Her other daughters Jessica and Eloise were happily married and she wished she could marry Jeanne off as well. They needed to tame her first.

"What of a public appearance for charity?" Sophia went on.

"Too hypocritical. We need to divert the attention from her" Amelie said "Do we have anything on any of the other companies?" she added. It seemed cruel but she would do anything or just something to ensure that the launch goes as well as they had been preparing for.

"Currently we have nothing worthwhile" Sophia responded. Her face lit up. They just needed to divert attention from Jeanne. What if they took the attention to their son?

"What if we announce that Greenriff's most eligible bachelor's engagement?" Sophia asked. Amelie's face went up in a smile. They had wanted to announce the engagement after the launch but it would do them a great deal to give the people something new to talk about.

"Let's announce the engagement"
