‘’Alicia , alicia , called Angela who came out of the small room in which she is living with her daughter Alicia for many years now. Angela Anderson remembered how eighteen years ago, she came across the man who destroyed her life. That man who denied her in front of his and her family after promising her the world.

　　‘’ mom, mom, the voice of Alicia took her mother Angela, out of her dreamland. ‘’ mom did you call me'’. Alicia was standing in front of her mom with a smile . She was wearing a flowery short dress which had for limit the top of her knees. Her brilliant hair were nicely comb and spread until the middle of her back. Alicia was very thin and tall, which gave her the look of a top model even in her cheap dress.

　　“Alicia where did you go?” Angela asked with a frown.‘’ mom I was just with Silvia the daughter of our new neighbors, mom you know , her parents are very sweet, they are very kind with me'’ added Alicia. Angela who had become bitter due to what she had face in life was not happy about her daughter putting her thrust in people so easily.

　　‘’ Alicia , started Angela with a calm voice, how many times did that tell you not to ……'’ . Angela couldn’t finish her sentence , Alicia interrupted her. ‘’ I know mom , you always told me to not believe blindly everything that I see or hear. I should be careful.

　　but mom, Alicia came near her mom and sat beside her, I am eighteen years old mom, you always said that I am very intelligent and that, wasn’t for our poor living conditions, I would have gone far in my studies? Mom it means you believe in me right? Thrust me mom, I won’t do anything which will harm me or give you pain’’. Angela put her arm around the shoulder of her daughter and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

　　‘’ ok my dear'’ Angela said with a smile. ‘’ but mom , why were you calling me?” asked Alicia . We have to get ready to go to see Mr. John, you know that , I sold all the goods that I took from him, we used a part of the money , I have to go there in order to get the goods to to sell ,or else , we will be left with nothing to cater for ourselves.’’

　　Alicia helped her mother to count and put the money together, then they headed towards Mr. John’s house .Mr. John’s house wasn’t far from their house. In just 20 minutes they could reach there. Alicia got the habit since her Childhood to great every single person she meets on her way. Which made her popular in that small village where she and her mother live.

　　Her mother , has an imposing personality, any individual who come across her in that village , always wonder ,if she is a common villager like them or someone very important who just came to hide in their village for the bad deeds she has done in the City . Very soon , the mother – daughter duo reached Mr. John’s house.

　　Mr. john lives in a big and beautiful house. He was the most rich person of Jamestown where , Alicia lives with her mother. Some years ago, when Angela arrived at that place, and was looking for a job for a living, she was directed to Mr. john . Mr. John was a businessman who has partners in the city. The goods that he lends to the villagers are from they company his partners and him own.

　　He brings the goods ,and lend it to the villagers who ask for his help. After selling the goods, the villagers repay the money of the goods with interest. They rest of the money remain for them. Angela started to work for him since her arrival at Jamestown till date, but wasn’t able to make any profit.

　　She used all the money that entered into her hands to cater for her daughter. She manage to help her daughter to study from kindergarten to high school. Alicia graduated from high school with good grades but there was no money for her to continue her education.

　　Angela was then forced to make her daughter ,come and help her sold the goods in the small storeroom made of woods that she manage to build over the years. At first , it was in front of the small room she rented that she was selling her goods. They goods were foodstuffs.

　　Angela pressed the ringing button twice and stop . A minute later, a maid came to open the door.‘’ Good afternoon miss, please we are here to see Mr. John, is he there?” .The maid who knows Angela already, invited her and her daughter to enter into the house, made them sit before going to inform her boss.

　　Few minutes later, the maid came and invited them to follow her. Angela and Alicia was brought to the back garden where mr. John was seated. They thanks they maid, then reached mister John who was always harboring a straight and cold face.

　　‘’ Good afternoon sir , greeted the mother- daughter duo together.’’ Mister John responded with a sign of the head and signed them to seat. After Angela and Alicia was seated , Mister John again, without opening his mouth, made them a sign to speak.

　　Angela mustered all her courage and started.’’ Mister John, I came to see you to give you the money of the goods. I sold All the goods but due to some difficulties that I faced I used some of the money. I want to plead with you to give me the goods to sell so that I will be able to pay back the money. Mister John listen to Angela, then told her. “ can’t do that anymore miss Angela”.
