The story begins in a nameless town somewhere in the world where life goes by as usual,where modernisity and nature are in balanced harmony...

　　The story starts with a young girl named Nekona, an 8th grader with two older siblings Koun and Kounna Shirofumi,her Dad is Abroad while her mother was home...

　　The sound of the alarm ringing wakes Nekona up although she refuses to get up...but when she remembered that it was a school day,she rose from her bed quickly went to change clothes and get her breakfast

　　With strawberry jam toast hanging from her mouth she quickly ran to school...

　　At the time she arrived she heard her best friend Shian shout "Good Mornin! Nekona!"

　　With a smile Nekona replies "good morning!"

　　With the bright sun on the light blue sky and the

　　Tree leaves dancing in the breeze of the wind

　　They entered school...

　　Lunch time 12:30pm

　　Nekona sighed with relief as half the school day was done in a zinch

　　As she took a lollipop from Shian's bowl of candy

　　Another sigh was given for the boredom she felt

　　Then she asked Shian

　　"Hey Shi-chan why do we even need to go to school

　　Information is already readily available on the internet..."

　　Shian smiled and answered "to be honest I don't know,

　　It's quite boring...although it's fun to make friends and learn new things...though some deem unnecessary"

　　Nekona sighed the third time and muttered

　　"Well that's not helpful"

　　As the light and gentle breeze goes through the open window,as the leaves fluttered Shian spoke with a clear soft voice "well,if I never went to school I never would have met you" and with Shian's bright smile...

　　Nekona gave her final sigh and muttered

　　"That's true,I feel the same way..."

　　...and so lunch time ended...

　　P.E. class 2pm

　　Nekona ran around the field as Shian watched while sitting in the bench... Later on Nekona went to ask Shian why she wasnt doing P.E exercises

　　Shian answered "my body is a bit weak,I usually start to nosebleed during heavy curricular activities then I faint"

　　Still Nekona invited Shian for some light jogging,as Shian couldn't refuse to her best friend she agrees to do some light jogging with Nekona

　　... after a while Shian started to nosebleed,not wanting to worry Nekona she quickly wipes it off and continues to jog she soon started to faint...

　　She last heard Nekona shout her name...before falling unconscious...

　　She soon woke up in the infirmary bed seeing Nekona's worried face...she quietly spoke "hey..."

　　Nekona quickly noticed Shian was awake then she bursted into tears as she apologized "Shian I'm sorry *sob* even though you told me you couldn't *sob* I still made you do it"

　　Shian comforted Nekona by saying

　　"Don't worry...I forced myself even though I was at my limit...I'm sorry for making you worried"

　　Nekona cried a bit...as a few moments went on they both fell asleep...later on the sound of the bell woke them up and so they went home together on the bright orange sunset...
