Never in my life could I ever imagine I'd be forced to an arranged marriage. Since I was a little girl I always imagined getting married to a man I love with my whole heart but reality hit me hard because now I have to get married to a man even I don't know.

Am getting married to a man rumored to be a monster. When my parents told me about it I swear I laughed my ass out thinking they were joking. I mean a man not even from Dystrya but the second prince of the greatest kingdom of this continent 'Alvania'.

I should be happy that I am getting married into the royal family but a man rumored to be monster only heavens knows how scary he looks. Just thinking about it sends chills down my spine.

"Elaine" mom called when she was done brushing my hair

"Mom, please can we think things true a bit, I can't get married to that man" Elaine complained with tears welling up her eyes

"My dear, you can't go against your father and, it's your wedding day. You will soon start your new life. So please try to smile" her mom consoled

"Your majesty, his highness has requested you and the princesses presence at the wedding" a. maid reported with her head bowed to show respect

"We will be there" the queen said and led her daughter out of the room

Elaine decided to stroll about a bit before the wedding precision starts.

While walking about she decided to get juice to quench her thirst but when she reached out to the juice with a maid she grabbed the glass and hurriedly consumed the liquid not realizing that there was a gentleman who had reached out for it before she could but didn't get it because she hurriedly took it

"That was Satisfying" she said and sighed

"Excuse me, your highness but I was about to reach that glass before you took it" he said calmly and got her attention

She was about to respond but got tongue tied after seeing the beauty infront of her

Raven hair, long lashes, golden coloured eyes and muscular face. A face worth drooling over.

"Hello" Elaine got pulled out of her trail when he called and she cursed herself inwardly for oogling at a man when she was about to get married

"Oh, um am sorry, please get him another drink" she apologized and ordered the maid but didn't see the stranger refuse Because she i'mmediately left and it took all her resolve to not turn and look at the beauty behind her to see him even if for the last time ever.
