.At the young of 25, the young dragon was thriving in a world of various different races. Her race of dragons had different types of dragons that followed in suit with the four elements of Water, Earth, Wind, and Fire. She was a fire element dragon. With yellow scales that shined as bright as the sun. When she would stretch her wings. The wind would kiss underneath her wings making her flight flawless. She was absolutely gorgeous. When in human form, the tanned skin with the slightly ribbed yellow scales that were on her back. Blonde and white highlights in her hair made heads turn as she walked past them to her best friend Aveena.

"Miss Mika!" I believe that it has been ages since we have last seen each other!" Aveena exclaims as she embraces her lifelong friend. Mika smiles and braces herself for the giant hug that Aveena was about to give her. "uggggh!! I think you're squeezing the life out of me!" Mika gasps out. Aveena quickly let's go and laughs. "You're seriously going to say that after knowing me for how long?!" Both the girls laugh and walk away hand in hand. Mika looks at Aveena and quickly realizes that she does not know where they are going. "Aveena, where are we going?" Aveena looks at Mika smiling. "To a place, you're going to love. There are many types of people and races. Not to mention that we are going to have a good time at the ball tonight." Shocked at her friend for taking her to a ball of all places in the world. Mika looks at Aveena while they are walking to her house and whines, "I can not dance to save my life. I have two left feet." Rolling her eyes at her friend. Aveena sighs and looks at Mika. "Please, just this one time will you do this favor for me and come. It won't be like the last time I promise!" Mika holds out her pinky to Aveena. "Promise?" Aveena hooks her pinky into Mika's. "Promise!" Not knowing what was in store for them when the ball would start in the next couple of hours.

Hours later after all of the hair-pulling, styling, and makeup. Both girls were ready for the ball. They get to the door waiting for their names to be announced to the rest of the attendees at the ball. They heard laughter and music. Which had eased any anxiety that was in the minds of Mika. Mika looks around at their settings. The garden had a breath taking view of a fountain of a dragon and a fairy dancing together under the moon. The water sprinkled over the two of them making it look like they were dancing in the rain together.

"Ahem" says the announcer. "Coming in from the dragon race miss Mika and Miss Aveena" Aveena looks at Mika and smiles. "Ready?" Mika nods her head silently. Both of them enter the ballroom. Gentally grabbing the railing, both of the girls reach the bottom. At the bottom of the seemly ungodly long stair case stood a butler with wine glasses and a crowd of people who were waiting to talk to the two beauties.

Crowds of people came to chat with them. One by one Mika would smile and nod her head in agreement just to keep the conversation going. Mika had glanced at her friend Aveena who was laughing and enjoying her night with complete strangers. Looking around at her surroundings there was a huge dance floor with couples doing a waltz. When all the sudden two men wrap their arms around Mika." Don't move otherwise this will hurt more." Another man comes up and puts a necklace that glowed around her neck.

That was when Mika had realized that the necklace that was around necklace was to prevent her from transforming. That was when Mika screamed. Her screaming caught the attention of every one. They had all stoppedwhat they were doing and just stared at her. Desperately looking for her friend, Mika yelled for Aveena. "Help! Help me! Aveena!"

Aveena came forth through the crowd of people and then announced to them. "The sacrifice is here! Bring her to the beast!" With tears in her eyes Mika pleaded "Please don't do this to me. " Suddenly Mika realized that it was all a trap. Which had made her extremely angry. "Why?" She demands spitting at Aveena. Aveena laughs as she wipes the spit off of her face. "Why? Why is what you ask me? You of the dragon race, the last fire element dragon." Mika's mind races when she hears that. " Last dragon??

There's a ton of us, there was a gathering not long ago..." Aveena picks up her friends face and whispers in her ear" I killed them all... Your mom, dad and even that cute little demon child you called a sister. " She gets up from her position and turns her back on Mika. " You always got everything you wanted. No sacrifices,no dues due, or even the struggle of finding a mate." Aveena turns around and gasps sarcastically. " Oh wait you never found your mate." She turns as way laughing and walks away. With a wave of her hand Mika is taken away from the crowd of people. Screaming as she is taken away she yelled to her once friend. " None of you will get away with this. Especially you Aveena! You will suffer in the worst ways and I will get my revenge."

Being dragged away was one thing. However, not knowing your impending doom and where or what this beast is, is a different story. Mika looks around at her surroundings. Dark, cold and a lot of scratch marks along the brick wall. She was pushed into a small dark room with bars that prevented her from getting anywhere else. The smell of mold and death flooded her nose. All the sudden something was caught on her leg. " What the hell is that?" To her horror is was the arm of another person. Kicking and screaming she realizes that this is the end. Crying in a corner she prays to get out alive to see her family. "It is all just a dream. This is not real and I will get home just fine."

If only that was true. "Craack!" Mika's head pops up. Squinting in the dark to see what was in front of her. Reaching out for a weapon, she grabs what seems to be a leg. The last thing that Mika remembers before everything going to be dark is the crunch or bones and a giant smash to her skull.
