"Two Mega hamburgers and one extra spicy hotdog special coming right up" Tracy said while wiping her arms on her sweaty forehead. She realized that her shift was almost over. She silently thanked God.

Tracy went to the back of the kitchen and changed back into her normal clothes after her shift was over. Today was her pay day. Yay. The day she'd get her salary since it was near the end of the month. She cringed when she thought of meeting her boss. She takes the trash to the back of the restaurant and sighed as she went to her boss' very cramped office. She tucked her shoulder length silky black hair behind her ears and knocked.

"Oh, hey Tracy" her boss, Tom greeted.

"Hi, Tom" she said suprised that he sounded jolly which never happened.

"How are you doing" he asked still smiling

"I'm good" she said carefully.

"So what are you doing here?" He asked his face changing into a serious expression

Okay. He was kidding her right now because she was sure she saw other staff members coming out each with a pretty fat envelope. She was really eager to get her money because if she didn't pay her rent today then her crazy landlord was sending her out this very night. She had promised to bring his money latest by eight and it was almost time.

"Uhm...I came to collect my money sir" She laughed nervously. She was scared, she didn't know what her boss was up to.

"What are you talking about Tracy?" He asked with a stupid smirk on his fat blotchy face.

Tracy's heart fell. Not this again.

"My salary sir" she said, giving her self a high five mentally for sounding strong.

"Your salary? Now that's wierd, do you still work here?"

What?!

"What?!" Tracy almost whispered.

"Oh, I thought I had actually fired your lazy ass. Ok let's get on with it, you're fired, pack all your stuffs...oh I just remembered, u don't have any, now get out!" Tom chuckled while lighting his cigarette.

Tracy couldn't form any words, this was her only job, while there wasn't any other job out there. She felt her throat constrict. No, he couldn't do this to her, what about her money, she knew he wasn't going to give her and there was nothing she could do about it. She knew he was sick but not up to this point.

"But why? " she felt the tears coming.

"Just felt like" he smiled.

"Please don't do this, I'll work full time now I promise. I'll take over the cleaning. Anything please, just let me keep my job" Tracy begged realizing that she was crying now.

" Hmm, I'd have considered giving you a chance but you're way to small to fulfill my desires so leave, you're wasting my time here" He yawned.

Tracy nearly choked, she didn't mean that way. What a disgusting cow. She knew there was nothing she could do to change his mind. She swallowed. Maybe after collecting her money, she could survive till she found another job, a better one that is.

"Ok then, my money" Tracy grit out.

"I'm not giving you a fucking dime dwarf! I said to get your ass out of here!" He said angrily.

"What! You intentionally didn't fire me because you wanted me to work for a whole month and now you fire me when I get to collect my money? Who does that?!. Give. Me. My. Money!" Tracy gritted through her teeth, her tears blurring her vision.

"No." Tom simply said.

"How do you expect me to work for something and get nothing! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!" Tracy screeched. She had never gotten this angry before, she had to keep what was left of her sanity. She swallowed a painful lump. He was such a bastard.

"I don't like to repeat myself honey, I said get out. Don't let me make you" he said calmly.

Tracy's face was as red as a beetroot now. Who does he think he is. She eyed him and took in his fat figure, all he knew was to eat, sleep and have cash within his grasp at all times. He had a stupid grin on his face, showing his yellow rotten teeth. Tracy took in a deep breath but soon regretted it as it was filled with his horrible sweat stench and smoke. She needed to get out of here.

" You're a filthy bastard, a wretched animal and you're a useless piece of shit" Tracy never cursed but things change. She bit back tears as she ran out hearing his chuckles behind her. She ran out the back door into the cold night. She checked the time on her cracked thrift phone.

7:49pm

Tracy started walking home. She had lost her job and soon she would lose her home too. She swallowed as she bit back angry and frustrated tears. She couldn't even afford a cab ride home. She thought of the hard life she was living at a young age. She wished she could just die and disappear from earth. She smiled at the thought. She wouldn't have to suffer.

The wind was blowing heavily whipping her hair on her face and suddenly as if the heavens felt her sorrow, it started to rain cats and dogs, the hard droplets beating heavily on her body.

Only then did she release her tears, she was alone in the street now and still far away from her home. The wind blew strongly, the sharp cold rain biting her skin. She looked at her clothing. Her favorite shirt that had already faded to the lightest shade of blue and was as thin as apart of slippers without the sole and with jeans that had seen better days. She was such a fool for forgetting her jacket.

Nonetheless, she dressed up very well today because she was so eager to collect her money and now she felt like she was totally reduced down to nothing. She was sobbing hard now, the rain drowning her voice. She realized she was to weak to go on, she fell to the ground on her knees, shaking violently from the cold piercing through her skin. She tried getting up but she couldn't find the strength to considering the fact that she hadn't eaten all day and had been working non-stop. She was getting dizzy and slowly everything turned black.
