Chapter one: founders reaf

　　I was born into a royal family, my mother was pregnant with me before she met the king. she didn’t know she was going to have me. All she knew was that my father saved her from a cruel man and married her. The king already had a son who I will never call my brother. My mother was happy she met the king but fearful when she had me. To her surprise the king was fine with me and would consider me his son, I am lucky because if I was in any other family I would have been crushed as an egg. The day i truly came to be i remember opening my eyes to see a large man pick me up and show mez to mizu the king’s son. Mizu was a small puggy boy and I couldn’t help but smile when I saw him. I felt a strange connection. I then looked up to see my mother who smiled warmly to me, she looked pale and sickly but I was too young to notice how bad she really was. Weeks later she died because of a plague that was thankfully not contagious to those who stay in the water. Me and my brother were made to bunk together for almost a year as maids cleaned every inch of our home to make sure that no one would get sick again. My birth to many was deemed a curse, and I agree. I only hope it doesn't bother mizus tomorrow..he’s being crowned tomorrow and given full right as heir.

　　“ I’m so nervous. What if i say something wrong?” mizu says cautiously, he's grown into such a confident young man. Twenty one years have been so good to him. His body is well built and his hair is as black as night and his skin is tanned from all his days out in the sun training.

　　“ you’ll be fine, mizu you’ve done so much for our kingdom.. No matter what you do or say they’ll still love you” i walks up behind him, he sees me get closer to him from the mirror “ and remember I’ll be there cheering you on”

　　“ thanks hikari…” he turns to face me, and kisses my head. His warm lips makes my heart skip beat. He has always been so kind to me. “ hikari.. One more thing.

　　“ yes?”

　　I feel him pulls me close to his chest as he kisses my lips deeply. My body shuddered at the soft loving touch of his lips. I melt into his grasp willingly as he wraps his arms around me and holds me tightly. I start losing myself till i hear the door. I push mizu away as quickly as i could being fearful that someone would see and harm him. I look back to see a maid.

　　“ oh. Sirs it’s almost time for you to leave for the ceremony.. Mizu your father is growing impatient.” her voice is soft and shy, most maids fake this kindness but this one never has, her face was tined a soft blue with freckles as she walks out.

　　After she was gone i feel mizu pull me to him again this time only kissing my ear softly before whispering sweetly.

　　“ I hope to see you tonight after the ceremony. I want to see what gifts you can give me for this big occasion~” he smiles leaving me standing in his room above the water blushing heated from his hot breath blowing in my ear. I shake my head calming myself and follows him close behind. I step into the water and let it samerge my body before I allow my tail to form. I swim off and follow my brother. We both reach the council area were a man stands in front of two tables. One filled with imbasiders and generals and the other with royals and nobles alike. I sit next to my father and watch as my brother gets sworn in to his role as heir.

　　“ Mizu yakerith, you come here for the founders reft chasm to stand before the council and your family to be sworn in as the rightful heir to your father who sits before us all today. Do you accept this responsibility as his son to be his heir” the shaman preaches.

　　“ I do.” “ then do you mizu, take all role and knowledge that once your father falls it will be you who must marry and bare the burden of the safety off all in this kingdom”

　　I smile as mizu glance towards me. A give a small flirtatious wink towards him causing him to go flush before the shaman snaps him back into reality

　　“ well mizu? “ “ o-oh! I-i do! “ i've always love to hear him stumble over himself when i cause him to lose himself in fantasies.

　　hi “ then from this day forward you shall be the rightful heir to the throne. Unlike your twig of a brother” you mother fucker. Me and my father sigh as the crowd laughs at the shaman's mocking comments. I watch angrily as mizu swims over to me and our father

　　“ i blew it” he whispers defeated “ i zoned out and i looked like i didn’t care for you and the people!” i giggles and start hamming things up “ oh no~ you don't care for me im broken! I can’t go on!” i say sarcastically making him chuckle. He playfully hits me in my stomach. We both share a caring aze into each others eyes before i motion for us to bail on the occasion so we could be alone together.

　　We leave together when all eyes fall onto the king as he does a speech for his kin. We go back racing each other joyously. We go to our home which i must explain is both under and above the water but is completely dry due to a magic bubble thing. I don't understand it and neither does mizu but we accept that it’s there because it doesn't hurt anyone.

　　We race to it but muzi has always been faster than me so he catches a quick lead long before we even reach our home. That lead although did help him win this race lead him to injure himself. He wasn't careful and when he went through the bubble he fell and landed on his face hard. His legs go back and almost kick him in the back of the head. I shout and rush to him worried

　　“ Mizu!” i shout and rush to him worried. He looks up to me with a blood covered nose and upper lip “ oh my lord your bleeding!” he hold him close to my chest. Him and i are both on our knees as i tremble scared for his health

　　Suddenly i hear him laugh as he pushes away from my chest, he cleans his face and chuckles.

　　“ your always so worried for me.” he leans into me and cups my cheek “ im fine.. nothing is broken and im safe.. i'll even prove it to you..”

　　He pulls me into a loving kiss and i kiss him back happily. I don't know why but every moment i'm with him i feel so much safer…
