The pale crescent moon shone like a silvery claw in the night sky.

The city brights lights give a live moment each and every night with people hanging around with their loved ones.

It’s a another hectic day for Hadley in the hospital.

Being a doctor is not that easy as it look but she loves what she does.

After a four years in medical school and internship,she had become the resident,finally .

She is still a new resident that need supervision from her senior resident.

Her shifts is over and she try to rest in the oncall doctor’s room before heading back home.Her eyes is closed but she still could hear the ambulance sirens from outside.

" Doctor Persson,you haven't go back home yet?",one of her collegue who enters the oncall room asked when she spotted Hadley there.

" I'm leaving in a while,just came here to take some rest before heading back",Hadley said while getting up and stretching her body.

" See you tomorrow Dr Persson".

" See you tomorrow",Hadley said with a faint smile and leave with her overcoat and bag.

It had been twelve long busy hours for her.

Now she just want to go back home and get a good sleep.

When she took the step outside the hospital,she feel the cold windy breeze on her although she is wearing her overcoat.

Hadley close her eyes and try to feel it with her heart.

That's like a booster for her.She love nature.

The only thing that could cure her heart and mind.

Hadley decide to have a walk for a while before heading back home.

The hospital is in the center of the city,so there would be no problem for her to leave her car at the hospital parking lot and hail a cab to get home.

She walk out from the hospital compound and walk on the pedestrian walkway.

The city is still awake with people roaming around.

On her way,Hadley happen to see a romantic couple having candle light dinner in a restaurant.

Her eyes got tears as she saw them.

Her heartache seeing that,where her past come like a flash in her mind.

The past that she wish not to remember in her lifetime.

Hadley is one of the doctor that have been talk of the hospital for her beautiful and graceful looks and personality.

There is always a smile planted on her face when she attend her patient's no matter what difficulty she is going through inside her.

She often receive love proposal from her senior doctors,her collegue and even patient sometimes.

Anyone who get along with her get attracted to her like magnets because of her charismatic personality.

But, Hadley is not ready to involve in a romantic relationship with anyone for now.

She had been running away from all this after her past bitter love life and just want to concentrate on her career .

" Ouchhhh!!!!",she heard a small tiny voice which make her come back to reality where she turn her attention from the couple to the direction of the voice.

Hadley saw a small boy got hurt in the street himself by falling down and get his knee hurt.

She run towards him and help him to get up.

" Are you alright? What are you doing here alone in the street.

Don't you know it's dangerous to go around alone....",she asked him while checking on his knee and help him to get up.

Thank god his knee was not bleeding and he just got a bit scratch at the superficial of his skin.

" Where are your parents?",Hadley inquire the boy.

" Over there...... ",he point to his back where the boy's daddy come running after his child.

" Are you alright champ,I told you not to run like this at public place",his dad scold him lightly but with so much love and caring.

" Relax dad,I'm fine.This pretty girl help me when I fall down...",the boy told his dad and giggle,where the boy dad look toward Hadley's direction after his son told him.

" Thank you Miss.....",he thanked Hadley.

" It's okay.....",Hadley say.

" And you,don't run around like this leaving your parents at public place.....",she advise the boy.

" I won't run if you become my girlfriend......",the boy told Hadley leaving Hadley and the boy dad to laugh.

" Hmmm,don't you think I'm too big to become your girlfriend?",Hadley asked him.

" It's okay I would manage",he say leaving her laugh.He is flirting with her at this small age.

" Be a good boy......",Hadley mess his hair a little before leave.

The boy hold Hadley hand and make her sit so that they would be in same height.

" What???",she asked him.

He give a peck on Hadley's cheek and say ," I love you".

Hadley and the boy's dad was suprised.

" Sorry Miss,he is always like this,a little mischievous",the poor dad apologise to her for his son behaviour.

" It's okay,sir....Your son is actually very cute",Hadley didn't take it wrongly.

How could she be mad when the person who said ' I love you', to her is this adorable.

Hadley smile and kiss him too on his both cheek, " I love you too but sorry I can't be your girlfriend. I'm too old for you",she said and bid farewell to the boy who is upset because Hadley refuse to become his girlfriend.

The boy's dad persuade his son and carry him in his arms while he wave bye to Hadley as his dad carry him.

Hadley hail a cab and return home after waving at the little boy.

She smile recalling that boy on her way back.That's the sweetest proposal she ever got from a little man who doesn't know the real meaning of the word ' love'.

Her whole day tiredness is gone after meeting the pure soul....
