Audrella woke up to the sounds of the angry birds just outside her window. She blinked severally before opening her eyes to the darkness in her room.

“Damn you piece of shits,” She cursed as she stretched out on the bed not minding the darkness. Well it was something she was used to and she loved it just that way.

Pulling her legs off the bed she hurriedly wore her flip flops and walked towards the window. She walked so easily avoiding all obstacles without even opening her eyes.

Yeah! She had gotten so used to the darkness that she could walk with her eyes closed. She pulled the curtain open and the dim morning light floated in. She squinted her eyes a little as she opened it and saw that it was just early morning. Her gaze landed on the grave right outside her window closed her eyes for a moment with a pained expression.

She pushed the curtains completely open and walked back in to the room heading to her bathroom to fix her bath. After a bath she came out to see that Nana had already cleaned her room and even laid out some clothes for her on the bed.

“Good morning Nana,” She greeted as she walked towards her bedside table.

“Morning Audrella, How was your night,”Nana asked as she busied herself in arranging her always scattered closer. Nana was her Nanny right from birth since her mum was always so busy so had no time to take care of her. So she had grown up in the hands of Nana, who had always treated her as her very own and was still taking care of her after her mother’s death.

“Not that bad,” She replied as she applied her body cream.

“Was there nightmares?” Nana asked finally turning to face her with her motherly concerned brown eyes of hers.

“Nah, there was none I told you that I have stopped having those Nightmares, why do you keep asking?” Audrella said with an a shrug as she finsidhed applying the cream and stood up from the bed going to her closets drawers to pick out her undies.

“I have made breakfast,”Nana replied ignoring her question like statement. “Eat before you leave,”

“I will,” Audrella replied as she picked out her black panties from the lowest drawer in her closet and pushed it close with her feet. “Nana, I might not be coming home tonight,”

“Do you have a night shooting?” She asked as she closed the arranged closet.

“Not really, we are having one of those events where Actresses come to show off,” She replied with an air quote and Nana chuckled.

“You mean those parties, where you eat nothing?” Nana said sitting on the bed.

“Yeah, those parties, but this one is more elite since we will be meeting some business men and women sponsors of the recent ongoing filming,” Audrella replied wearing her plain jean trousers.

“Is it the one you are filming,”Nana asked with raised eyebrows.

“Yes,”she replied and picked up her bra from the bed putting it on.

“I guess I will cancel dinner and eat out,”Nana said

Audrella gave her a queasy look.”Are you going on a date?” She asked and Nana looked startled for a bit as her cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

“No of course not,”She replied in a rush.

“Oh come on Nana, don’t lie to me,” Audrella pressed but Nana looked away without saying a word and Audrey was sure that there was certainly someone. “You sly old woman,” Audrella teased as she finally wore her big but fitting shirt and just before Nana would defend her self they heard the doorbell.

“I think that must be your manager,” Nana said as she stood up and hurried to the door with Audrella walking behind her.

As they got downstairs they saw her manager Sarah pierce already seated with her leg crossed.

“Good morning Nana,” she said immediately she sighted them.

“Morning Sarah,” Nana replied as she walked towards the kitchen and Audrella guessed she was probably going to fix Sarah breakfast.

“You wench, how did you get my passcode,”Audrella said as she led Sarah to the dinning room.

“Ohh it was easy, I just typed in chocolates in numbers and boom it opened,” Sarah said as she typed on the phone in front of her.

“Damn, I will have to change it, don’t want you barging in when I am not around,”Audrella said.

“Don’t waste your time I will always know,” Sarah replied.

Sarah was actually her best friend and also her manager. They had grown up together until fourth grade when Audrella’s mum had moved away for a music concept. Yes her mum was a popularly well known musician and song writer. So after her Mum’s death she had come back to New York after her Twentieth birthday to find That her best friend Sarah Berkeley had dropped out of school since her parents wasn’t able to support her financially.

She was then working as a partime help at one cafe downtown to atleast make ends meet, so Audrella had fried her manager back then who was a really bossy arrogant fellow and hired her best friend who she remembered clearly was good in managing things and she had also enrolled her in to a part time classes for a course relating to it and up till now she hadn’t had a single reason to doubt or regret her decision.

“I will have Nana do it for me,”

“Seems you have forgotten the last time you did that, you had to stand outside for hours hiding your face from your neighbors till she came back from the mall,”Sarah said with a smirk as they sat down at the dinning room.

Her face grumbled as she remembered it clearly, she had forgotten the passcode to her door that Nana had set for her. It was a simple passcode and for an actress like her she wasn’t supposed to forget it since she crammed textbooks called script but that was something with her she always forgets the simplest of things. That single act had nearly blown her cover and she had to relocate back to her mother’s house when fans got the wind that it was her apartment and flooded there to see her.

“Ohh please don’t remind me of such horrible experience,” Audrella said as she placed her hand over her head.

Sarah laughed in her weird kind of funny way that always affected people around her that they would join her to laugh.

“What is so funny?” Nana asked as she walked out bearing a tray filled with whatever she had made for breakfast.

“Ohh..Na..na,” Sarah tried to stutter out but soon burst in to another fit of laughter and Nana joined too. Soon they were exhausted and couldn’t laugh anymore.

“What is going on?” Nana asked after the fit of laughter.

“It’s nothing just that I reminded Rella why she shouldn’t let you change the door pass code because I know it,” Sarah explained with a big grin on her face.

“I wouldn’t dare do that, or we might have to relocate because someone forgot that her passcode was actually her name,” Nana replied as she set out the table.

“I didn’t forget,”Audrella whined.

“I didn’t forget,” Sarah micmiked mockingly.

“Yeah we know you didn’t, now you guys should hurry up with breakfast since it is almost time for your shooting,” Nana said gently and she uncovered the dish.

“We don’t have shooting until late this evening, though we do have an appointment with the fashion way magazine at 12pm” Sarah replied as she glanced at the iPad. “And also we need to attend the Valerian Tv show at 2pm,”

“And this is almost 10, so hurry up,”Nana urged and she didn’t need to say more as they both fell in love with the hot chili spaghetti in their fronts and were soon devouring it like little children.

“I love you Maxine, and I know this is selfish of me to say but I really want you by side at all time and every second of my life,”

“But My prince, I can’t love you back. How would I dare to do such when I am just a lowly maid,”She replied bowing her head in shame rather than fear.

“I don’t care about your status, what I know deep in my heart that you are the only woman I can ever love, the woman of my dreams. I love you more than words could ever describe,” He said reassuringly and she had to look up to his eyes to see the sincerity in it. “Please Maxine, don’t run away from what your heart desires, Just say you love me back,” She didn’t say a word as she stood gaping at her her eyes watery and her lips parted in surprise and shock.

“It’s not in my place to love you back, I can’t my prince,”she replied shaking her head.

“In love there is no barrier, Maxine,” the prince said desperately hoping he could convince her. “I don’t care if you are a maid or something worst all I care is for you to love me back, and accept my undying love for you.”

“But it is against the law, My prince.”She replied with doubt

“I don’t care about the law, Maxine all I care about is you,” he said running his hand through his hair. “I love you so much that I am not sure I will be able to live a day without you,”

Her heart melted at the words and she didn’t know when she blurted out “I love you too my prince,”looking away shyly and he drew her face back to him and leaned down to kiss her lips.

“Cut,” someone yelled and they both turned to the direction of the voice.
