When I came to this city three months ago, I was worried how would I survive alone here. Actually, I never live alone in my whole life. By the way, I am 23 years old and doing job in a private company. I am here because of my job. I was selected by this company and I accepted the offer letter because of my relatives. My uncle

my mother's brother

lived in this city three months ago but suddenly he got transferred into another city. He tired to not transferred but he failed. at last, his company transferred him into another city and here I was alone.

  Three months ago,

My dad told me, "It's ok, Disha. you can apply into another company if you don't want to go."

I frowned, "but I have to wait. and it's good opportunity. if I miss, I will never get again this opportunity. they are giving me high and the experience to working in that company will be boost in my career. I don't know to do now."

Dad smiled, "yeah, you are right. You are now grown up. you decide what to do. what is better for you."

I got irritated, "but dad, it's your responsibility to guide me. how can you back off your responsibility?"

he chuckled, "When did I back off? I am giving opportunity to decide. it means I trust on you and its a chance to stand up on your own feet. don't you want it?"

I made my face but didn't say anything. Because he was right. I argued with him just few days ago that I grown up and I wanna to stand up on my feet. now he is giving my medicine to me for taste. and believe me. it tastes bitter.

My mother suggested, "Disha, if you wanna go, you should go. it's really good opportunity for you. and by the way, that city is not new for you. You went many times to stay with your uncle and aunt. You are familiar with that city. it's better than go to strange city. And your uncle guide you for anything if you need."

She made senses. At least, she is not heartless as my dad. I smiled and hugged her, "thanks mom, you are best than dad."

my mom put her hand on my cheek with proudly and laughed with happiness. while my dad glared me and warned, "don't come to me when you need pocket money and any help. Remember it."

I was speechless. It's not childish? Yeah, it's my parents. They are childish than me. They always try to prove who is best between them. But I can never compare them. They both are my parents. and I love both of them equally.

I pouted, "Dad, please try to understand. I didn't mean it. you are also best."

Dad reminded me, "Disha, are you backing off your words what you say just now?"

I wanted to vomit blood this time. Because it's my dad another speciality that he knows what to say at right time.

I cried fake, "Dad, how can you bully your daughter?"

dad got soft hearted immediately. I could tell by looking his face expression. He can't see me to be hurt. After all, I am his weakness. I know very well.

he said immediately, "I am sorry. I didn't mean it."

I smiled to hear it and raised my hand, "pocket money?" It's true. I was going to do job but I always ask my dad for pocket money. it's my rights and his obligation.

he raised his eyesbrow while mom laughed. He shook his head but took out his wallet from his pocket with gladly.

He put two notes on my hand and I grabbed immediately. I kissed the notes and my parents laughed at my reaction. the most important I don't know why they laughed. I mean come on who never loves money?
