A bright flash of lightening followed my thunder shook the kingdom of Acasya

　　The villagers knew what was coming, the aura terror could be perceived from afar

　　Every thing was set in place , he was just waiting for king Xavier to appear.

　　He felt compassion for the slaves that were about to be sacrificed tonight but he knew he had no other option because ,not only his life was at stake but also that of his family.

　　Every full moon king Xavier goes on a blood rage and it is never been heard of in Acasya that any slave ever survived the nights

　　A chilling dark aura suddenly filled the surrounding air, he knew that it was time

　　"Greetings my king may you live forever" Harold's said trembling with fear as he bowed down

　　King Xavier ignored his greetings

　　"Bring them to my chambers now" Xavier's voice boomed with authority

　　"Yes my Lord" Harold's voice sounded strange to his own ears quickly, he turned and signified some guards to bring the slaves.

　　King Xavier sat like a god in his throne room as he stared at the slave kneeling before him quivering in fear ,she could be called pretty with her long blonde hair and blue eyes, but it was such a shame that she was going to die.

　　"Well well well"he said in a baritone voice

　　"Look up at me slave!" He said in a sharp command forcing the maid to look up at him.

　　Xavier looked ethereal with his god like features his jet black long hair falling at his shoulders ,his aristocratic nose would make the best sculptor jealous,his sharp jaw line matches his coal black eyes which was equally as black as his heart........ If he possessed one.

　　"It's easy , I want u to do something, anything" he said in a bored tone

　　"If I am impressed , you live and if I'm bored u die"

　　"Your time starts now " he added

　　"Please my Lord spare me, I will do whatever you want" the maid began

　　"I can be your bed side maid and serve you" the maid said hoping he would accept her offer

　　King Xavier chuckled slowly"come here" he commanded

　　She quickly rushed to his side ,when she was within reach he grabbed her tightly by the throat and chuckled evil

　　"Y do all of you just have one thing to offer, so boring"

　　** a piercing scream was all that was heard all over the castle followed by more screams*

　　Lily's POV

　　"Now that concludes the story of snow white and the seven dwarf" she said closing the story book.

　　She had been reading it to her five years old cousin sister. Lily has been living with her uncle and his wife after both her parents passed away from a plague seven years ago, as he was her only surviving relative. No matter what harsh treatment her aunt Esmeralda gave her, she always endured it in hope that one say her aunt would come to love her as she loved her other three children.

　　"Okay now its time for bed"she told little Katie as she tried to tuck her in

　　Keyword "tried" , Katie flung off the bed covers and say in her childish voice " nooooo sister lily I'm not sleepy tell me one more story"

　　"Be good katie your mom would be worried if you don't go to bed now " she try to explain to her but katie was having none of it

　　Lily sighed in defeat "okay I will but you must promise me that you'll sleep okay"

　　Katie nodded her head enthusiastically

　　"This is a story about a kingdom and a princess ....."

　　She was half way into the story when her aunt barged inside the room her facial expression angry" why is Katie still awake" she yelled in her tiny shrill voice fuming with rage

　　"She wanted some....." Was all lily could say before she was given two hot slaps on both her cheeks

　　" you wench! what do you want to do to my daughter?" She screamed

　　"Listen here fool, I'm not the one that killed your parents so you will not kill my daughter, why will you have her awake so late?"she added taking a sit beside Katie who was watching wide eyed

　　Her eyes stung as tears threatened

　　She couldn't think of any reason why her aunt always treated her in this manner

　　"Why are you still standing here? will u move your stupid body before I beat you mercilessly!"she snapped impatiently glaring at Lilly

　　With a heavy heart she left the room and proceeded to do the rest of her chores

　　The night was still long ahead
