Chapter 3

Pinky laughed hard as her friend Jenny twirled her hands around her arm.

Both of them were busy playing around in the classroom, nothing minding the present of the other students.

"Pinky?"one of Seth's friends called as they moved closer to her.

They looked suprised, seeing Seth and his friends.

Jenny grabbed Pinky's hands out of fear.

Seth Black eyes sparkled on the Glass he was putting on, Pinky was already nervous but she tired to act smart.

Jenny wondered why Seth is here with his friends,he is supposed to be with Cindy,then why is he here?.

"Wow,Seth is really handsome but am not going to fall for"Pinky wondered as she shook her head once and let the thought slides off her mind.

She couldn't bring herself so low to drag Seth's love with someone students.

"You wanna say something?"she asked.

"Yeah,am inviting you to Cindy's birthday and I want you to my dancing partner".

Pinky's heart was beating rapidly against her chest, she didn't know what to think.

She looked at Jenny"am not coming"she said

"Why?"Seth asked.

"Am not interested"

Seth got livid with anger at what pinky said.

He forced out a smile and looked away quickly from pinky.

Jenny looked so jealous, she wished Seth could ask her to follow him instead of pinky.

Pinky finished packing her books and left the classroom.

On her way going she bumped into Kings, she also slipped..

Kings caught her waist and she stabled herself.

"Thank you"she said and wanted to walk away but Kings pulled her back,the moment he saw her crying.

"Why are you crying?"he asked,his attractive face worried with wrinkles.

This is the first time, Pinky is breaking down in front of someone that is not her mother.

"Nothing Kings"she replied and forced out a smile.

Without waiting for any reply, she left.

MRS DIANE HOUSE

Pinky turned to the other side and opened the freezer out of nervousness.

She wondered what exactly Seth wants from her.

"Mom,am not going anywhere and no matter what you say will change my mind'she said as she bought out a cold ice cream with cake.

She pour some of the ice cream into a small plate.

"Please my child, attend the party,I want you and Seth to be together".

Pinky furrowed her eyebrows.

"Call Seth and tell him you are coming for the party".

Pinky left the ice cream and turned Immediately to hear what her mother was saying.

She was suprised to hear what her mom said.

"Am sorry mother but am not going"she stated as she drank more of her ice cream with the cake in her right hand.

She tucked her hair behind her ears.

"My daughter please call Seth and inform him that you are coming for the party" Mrs Diane said as she placed her hands on Pinky's shoulder.

She looked at her mother and the pleading eyes she was making.

"Okay, mother I will"she said Avoiding her mother's gaze.

Mrs Diane chuckled.

"Thank you my daughter"

Pinky smiled as she countinue licking her ice cream.
