“So about your youngest sister, where is she?” I asked them curiously, since I was young, father always told me stories about myths but I never thought that they would really exist.

“In a realm called Aether, the only way to reach her is that you die.” My eyes widened as I almost choked on my own saliva when William said it with a stone cold face. Luther laughed and nudged him in the arm.

“What he meant was that the only way to reach Kelly, is that you are to be taken by mind and soul.” I looked at him looking even more confused.

“So what—” I didn't continue my words when William stabbed me in the stomach, I felt blood dripping from my mouth as I fell to the cold ground, I feel dizzy.

I closed my eyes, as seconds passed I felt darkness slowly devouring me. I heard the sound of a woman singing, her voice was magnificent. I opened my eyes and saw a woman with short black hair sitting next to me. I was in a garden? I looked around and found myself in a garden of some kind, it was surrounded with beautiful flowers of all colors and the sky was lit up by thousands and millions of stars.

She looked at me and smiled, “don't worry you are not dead, not yet,” she said and looked the stars, “right now you are in the middle of life and death, your body is still fighting for life and yet your soul already departed from it.”

Those two bastards! They tricked me!

“You're Kelly, right?” she looked at me obviously confused.

“How do you know my name?” she asked.

“Well, I was sent here by two men claiming to be your brothers, I just couldn't believe I fell for their dirty little tri—” I couldn't continue what I was saying when she cut me off.

“Two men? Were they named Luther and William?” she asked and I nodded, wait, so they were saying the truth?

She immediately came towards me, I could feel my face getting red, I felt her hands on my chest. I gave a sigh of relief when she pulled away from me once she pulled something out from the pocket of my shirt.

“Bane.” She whispered, it was faint but loud of enough for me to hear.

She sighed and came close to me once again. Her pointer finger touched the middle of my forehead and pushed me a bit.

I struggled to catch my breath as I sat up, I held my stomach, to my face and even bit my tongue a couple times, “I'm not dead!” I exclaimed.

“So? What did she say?” Luther asked. I glared at them before standing up.

“You know you can't go around stabbing people just because you want to.” I said obviously pissed.

“She didn't say anything, all she did was bring me back to life, no thanks you two.” I said and went to the fridge located on the side of my office.

William said while opening the door, “we spend the night at West's house, we leave at dawn. I know someone who might help us.”

“Wait,” Luther said and grabbed him by the shoulder, “you don't mean...”

“I mean, Helios.” He said and went outside. We followed him and went inside my car.

“Wait, who's Helios?” I asked out of curiosity.

“Son of Hecate.” William said from the backseat, we're now heading back to my house, after a few moments of deafening silence I decided to break the silence.

“So any of you got a girlfriend, or something?” I asked but both of them bursted out in laughter.

“No, the price for immortality is too high, and you might end up paying with your life. ” William said.

“Oh.” It was all I could manage to say.

“How about you? Got yourself a lady?” Luther then gave a teasing smile after saying those words.

“Not yet,” I said and hit the brakes, I looked back at them and said, “I'm still looking for her.”

As we entered my house, my cats immediately greeted us, they ran straight to William who was now sitting on the floor, one of them was sitting on his lap while one was making her way to Williams shoulder.

“Don't mind him,” Luther said and walked up to me, “he has a soft spot for pets.”

“So, about your father, do you know anything about what he was researching on before he left the city?” Luther asked and sat down to to sofa.

“Father and I grew apart through the years, he never really tells me anything.” I said.

“Hm.” He hummed in response.

“ I might.” I felt my soul slip away from my body when I heard a woman spoke behind me, I looked back and saw my co-worker, Kemelee Jade Trivoir, Father's assistant.

“When he left, he told me something about a chalice.” She said and walked towards the table.

“I also stole this from his notebook.” She placed a piece of paper on the table. She continued to speak as I picked it up and saw that it was a drawing of a cup?

“The symbol of the chalice.” Once again, I felt my heart drop when a woman spoke. She snatched the paper from my hand and showed it to everyone.

“This is the symbol of the golden chalice of the gods.” She said and sat beside Luther.

“The golden chalice? Ms you're being delusional, that doesn't exist.” When Kemelee said that Kelly bursted out in laughter, so did Luther and William.

Kelly was about to speak when a gust of wind blew the door opened and someone came inside, he was wearing a white robe. He walked to where Kelly was standing and bowed.

“I have came with a news from your father Pride.” He said, his voice was deep and creepy.

“How many times do I have to tell you, stop calling me Pride, for goodness sake it's Kelly.” Kelly sighed before sitting in the sofa, right beside Luther and Wrath.

“My apologies, m'lady.” Kelly raised her hand, her pointer finger was straight while the others were slightly bended down.

“What's the message?” William asked.

“With the three phases of the moon,

a new aspect will be born soon,

the fourth hidden aspect of the triple goddess,

it will either be the cause of their salvation,

or the birth of destruction.” After he said those words, bright light started to radiate from hin causing us all to close our eyes, when I opened mine, he already disappeared.

I saw Kelly sitting in the sofa, crossing her legs and arms. “Let's waste no time, we leave tomorrow.” She said and stood up.

“To where?” Kemelee asked looking like she is still in the process of digesting everything that we just saw.

“None of your business, human.” Kelly said and looked at Luther and William signalling them to follow her.

When they went outside, I approached Kemelee and laughed, “you ok?” I asked her, she just nodded at me.

“Wanna eat something?” I asked and again, she just nodded. I went to kitchen and I suddenly heard voices outside.

I know it's wrong to listen to other peoples private conversation but I just couldn't help myself. Quietly, I placed ny ear against the wall.

“We're not going to Helios.” It sounded like Kelly.

“He's the son of Hecate, if anyone can help us—” The man sounded like Luther.

“We can't,” He was cut off by William, “it would take too much time, Kelly's right, we can't or we'll fall behind.”

“Fall behind? What do you me—” Again, Luther was cut off.

“The people who killed West's father was after the chalice, if we go to Helios now, we'll be too late. The chalice of the gods should not fall in the hands of a mortal or else this world will fall to dust, so we'll have to get there first.” That was the last thing I heard before everything fell in silence. I panicked when I heard the door open.

As morning came, I slowly opened my eyes and saw myself right beside Kemelee, who was now sleeping peacefully. I stared at her from her forehead to her pink lips. My lips slowly formed to a small smile. I panicked when she opened her eyes, our gazes met as I felt my heart beat faster. She was index beyond gorgeous, the epitome of perfection. Her pink lips, dark brown eyes, pointed nose, slightly tanned skin, thick eyebrows could make a man's jaw drop and have butterflies in his stomach going wild.

I immediately cleared my throat and stood up and walk away, I saw Luther and William sitting in the kitchen munching on some newly made pie. When I turned around I was greeted by a sour faced Kelly, her eyes were cold and angry while her left eyebrow was slightly raced upwards.

She walked pass me and her shoulder hit mine making me step back a bit. What's up with her?

“So, where do we go?” I asked, Kelly looked away and smirked a bit.

“What?” I asked again, confused by how they're acting.

“Just us three, we're going back to the underworld—” I didn't let Luther continue talking.

“I am not going to sit here and do nothing, wherever you go, me and Kemelee goes. Period.” I said firmly.

I saw Kelly smirk, she stood up and held my chin, “if you insist.”
