Her eyes shifted to the side again. They were glazed with glassy layer of tears. As she blinked, they dripped from her eyelids and slid down her cheek. She wiped it off with her thumb.

She stared at the sky like someone who was searching for something important. She felt goosebumps on her skin, no doubt, the night was cold. It was awfully silent. She was seated alone on the pavement in the school.

She knew she was going against the school rules, but she didn't mind. She needed some time alone. She needed to clear her head. She inhaled deeply. Everything around her looked gloomy too. The trees, swaying slowly like they were sympathising with her, the moon seemed to be looking at her directly in the face too. She could picture a look of pity on the face of the moon. The stars twinkled, like they were trying to tell her everything is going to be fine.

She was snapped out of her thoughts by a whisper. She was startled. Of course, she had heard stories of strange things happening at night, though she believed none of them. She closed her eyes and prayed it was her imagination.

That didn't stop it. Come here.......come here, the whispering continued. She couldn't pretend she didn't hear anything.

Curiously, she stood up. She wanted to figure out where the whisper was coming from. She tiptoed as she walked. She couldn't afford to make any sound. The breeze seemed to have changed it's direction. She moved further and further until she got to the music studio. There, the door was closed.

Her chin dipped to her chest. A look of disappointment stole across her face. She sighed deeply and turned to go. Come here, she heard again. She turned around. She walked towards the door and twisted the door knob. She was startled that the door was so easy to open. She had thought that it would be locked. She peered inside, it was so dark, she could not see anything. She strolled in, tiptoeing so as not to make any sound.

She spotted a door at At the far end of the music studio. She tiptoed towards it. She twisted the door knob, and the door flung open. It was dark. She couldn't see anything. Her hands trailed the wall. She had to find the controller and turn the lights on. Her fingers landed on the controller and she turned it on immediately.

She let out a gasp as light flooded the whole room

Suddenly, something pushed her from behind, and the door slammed shut.
