My laughter filled the air as I kept running down the street as Tony from the convenience store chased and yelled after me. I got to hand it to this man, his vocabulary is very so vulgar.

"You s*** licking piece of s*** get back here." he yelled. How the hell is he still keeping up, he looks like an obese pregnant woman wearing a disturbingly bright Hawaiian shirt.

"Love you too Tony. I can just feel the love." I laughed. My bike was in sight, in a swift movement I grabbed it and sped off on it. "Thanks for the dog, Tony." The puppy barked as if also telling Tony a thank you.

Tony doesn't deserve this little angel anyway so I definitely do not feel bad for kind of stealing the puppy from him. Tony was always kicking at the puppy's mother and yelling at them. The puppy barked happily.

"That's right pup, Mama's is gon' love you and take good care of you and and..." I looked away from it and noticed I was heading straight for tree "Oh s***!!!" I yelled before colliding with it

The puppy landed safely a few feet away from me and immediately ran over to me and started licking my face, as I laid sprawled on the floor.

"You ok bub?" BARK "Good... Ow".

Good thing I lost Tony a long time ago, I started walking, with the little pup on the bicycle. My butt bone hurts like a b**** making me limp as I walked by.

I should hurry home if I didn't want my already broken butt, to get whooped. My neighborhood was filled with Rich snubs and boring people so basically, I didn't really relate to most of them here. My father's Mansion size penthouse stood elegantly at the centre of the neighborhood, it was kind of secluded and heavily guarded. I sighed dejectedly as I set the bike by a tree and took Bub in my hand. I rubbed his head as I walked into the house and sighed as the atmosphere seemed to sap out my enthusiasm.

"What is that thing?" This voice belong to my father's personal assistant; Evelyn. To you my dearest reader, note that we do not like her, ok?

"This thing has a name and it is Bub." I had given it a name after I crashed into a tree

"And where did you get it from?" She eyed Bub, like he was the dirtiest scum on the planet Earth.

"That is for me to know, and for you to find out Evelyn." I sneered at her as I walked past her and towards the golden rimmed stair case.

"Where have you been a Elena?!" My father's voice boomed from the other set of stairs opposite my direction. I scowled as I turned to look at him, putting on a fake smile. I hated that name with every fibre of my being.

"Evening Daddy." I mused.

"The answer to my question." He demanded, and I swear I saw a smile on Evelyn's face.

"I just stepped out to get some things from a store... No big deal." I rolled my eyes.

"No big deal!" My father repeated even louder. "Something could have happened to you!!"

"But nothing did. I'm here, aren't I?" "You make me lose my mind sometimes." I muttered.

"And where did you get that?" He asked gesturing at Bub who barked softly.

"A friend gave it to me." I lied with ease, live in my world and you would get used to it, trust me.

"What friend?" He asked.

"I have things to do dad, you can interrogate me some other time. And, I'm sure you have business to attend to." I said venomously spitting the last sentence.

A look of guilt washed over his features, but was quickly replaced by a stone expression.

"That is no way to talk to your father Elena." Evelyn interrupted.

"Stay out of this Evelyn." My father calmly replied.

I scoffed at them both, "Who the hell are you to tell me how to talk to my father!!" I angrily glared at her.

I looked at my father, "Do not tell me what to do, you do not own my life. It is your f****** reputation to keep not mine, it is your money to spend and not mine so I don't get why I'm f****** responsible for any of these things. And lastly tell your little b**** to watch herself." I turned to walk away. "Or better still, keep it on leash" a smirk formed on my lips.

"You're just like your mother." I heard him say.

"I don't even know if that's a good thing anymore, is it dad?" My smirk dropped as I felt the tears stinging my eyes.

No tears, Jordan.

"Whatever." I muttered and continue walking, I got to the top of the stairs.

"You should get some rest Jaden, it is getting late." I heard Evelyn say and that was when I LOST it.

I dropped Bub and turned to the nearest vase, that was positioned on a stool. I picked it up and tossed it in the direction of the other stairs.

"Stop behaving like you're his f****** wife, idiot." I yelled, allowing the tears fall freely.

My father lookedd really shocked.

I never threw tantrums; today was like a first. Evelyn had the sickening sweet smile on her face, fake as hell, I dare add.

"I will have the maids clean that up, you should get to bed Elena we'll see in the morning, dear." She said drawing the last part slowly.

"I just might stab you one of these days, Evelyn. Maybe that will show you how much I really do not like you I said with a smile of my own. "See you in the morning." I did not miss the frown on her face and the look up disapproval on my father's.

I whistled to Bub and he sturted after me then that's some cute shit
