Still sitting on my bed, I can't fathom how today would look like. I could hear Oscars foot stomping and coming close to my room door. Oscar was a huge tall and muscular man in his mid-twenties. I have been scared of Oscar since when I was a little girl.

"I have been waiting for you since six am, and you're here resting right?". He said dragging my hair and pushing me out of my room. "Please am sorry, I forgot to wake up early" I told him pleading with him. Instead he grabbed my wrist and pushed me to the sitting room.

"Gabriel!!!!" Oscar shouted calling his bodyguard. "Yes sir". "Flog her till she learns her lessons" Oscar said giving Gabriel a whip. "Please am sorry" I shouted pleading with them, instead I received more whips on my body.

My skin felt sore. I felt like I was put into a fiery furnace. I groaned out at each stroke given to me. After like eternity, Gabriel was finally tired. He left me there were I was crying in grief.

"Am sorry dear, come on let me help you treat the bruises" Mrs Angela told me helping me up to my feet. She has always been like a mother to me from the first day I entered here. She loved me and I loved her too.

She carried me to my room with a bucket of hot steamy water and a hand towel to let the pain go down. "Arrrghhhh!!!" I groaned as she placed the towel on me. I could see it bringing out steam. "Sorry dear am almost done" she said squeezing the towel.

When she was through with me, she told me to take my bath and come downstairs to take my breakfast with her in the kitchen.

After taking my bath, I wore a black hoodie and a pink short. Mrs Angela also sat on the dining table beside me.

" So, what have you planned to do Sophia?" Mrs Angela asked me cutting her egg."look " I said whispering "I've planned to run away this night, through my room window". I told her in whispers. "Ok let's agree your going to escape but Oscars bodyguards are around this house, so how would you run?"she asked lovingly.

" I've planned it very well. Look Mrs Angela I don't want to stay here and suffer again" I saw Oscar's car park in the driveway from the window, I saw oscar, his bodyguard and some other people. They looked like health workers.
