PROLOGUE

"I beg your pardon?"

“You want me to what ?!” I asked aloud what a God had said to me. Is he serious right now? “You want me to save… the villainess !?”

"Over and over again? Do you want me to repeat? Save Princess Melusine Ondine, try not to let her die. ” I slapped his forehead and held him on his shoulder.

“Look here God… whoever you are. What you are requesting of me is very impossible to happen. ” Where I said to him.

“Do you want to break the flow of the story? We are in a novel, a very famous book. You want to make readers angry !? You want the story to be boring? ”

He sighed and sighed. "She's been through a lot, she didn't deserve death."

I just calmed myself first. Why was I here again? Ah yes, some random God reincarnated me as a side character to save a villain.

I have no interest in stories, I hate reading and this is like the only book I read because my friends suggested it.

It was a cliché type of story, with knights and shining armors, with beautiful female leads and handsome male leads. Fl has its own harem and of course there is a villain.

Melusine Ondine, you listen very much, don't you? just a name, you know he's the villain.

Melusine’s the male leads ex girlfriend who went crazy because of the break-up. She was always mentioned as the type of person who loves to eat. Maybe the author wants to interpret that Melusine is chubby.

But like every story ever, the villain will die and will die. And this God here is asking the impossible.

This God is Melusine’s secret guardian who watches over him always, he wasn’t mentioned in the book at all. He said Melusine isn’t that bad at all, he even said it was good.

“Aren't you God? Why don’t you save her yourself? Duh? with your God powers? ” he even rolled his eyes. Ugh the audacity really.

I'm really the one who will do it, he's the one with the powers!

"We are not allowed to interfere ok, unless we exist as characters." I looked at him. "But you're reincarnated as Melusine's friend, you can do it for me."

Is he kidding me ?! I don't care if he is a God on any continent of the world as long as I want to hit him so hard that he loses consciousness.

"I can read your thoughts Herabella." He snickered. I exhaled heavily so he could feel my anger.

My name’s not Herabella but since I’m in the novel, I can’t- I can’t really mention my name. Maybe I’m really Herabella now.

Herabella Venturi, the villainess ’only friend who is also too stupid to suggest a plan sometimes. Maybe he's the reason why Melusine died.

“And did you forget that he died in your world? You were the first one I saw who died so I also had no choice. ” Forced amputation.

I rolled my eyes until he added something. “I can let you go back to your world alive. But in exchange for Melusine’s safety. ”

My eyes lit up when he said that. Yeah I already died in my world.

"So my mission is to keep her alive until the story ends happily?" It's not a bad deal.

"Yes." I thought, that’s kind of fair.

“Ok fine, I accept this mission. I don't have a choice, do I? ” I know that even if I back out here he will look for someone else from my world.

"I, Lady Herabella Venturi will keep Princess Melusine Ondine safe."

I'm not really confident in what I said, knowing we have 3 male and 1 female as enemies. They are also the main characters of the story.

This is going to be hard as f-ck.
