Mau Aimer Fontanazzi

　　Nervously I am walking towards to my father's office here in our house. I don't even have an idea  why he wants to have a word to me.

　　I mean I'm being an obedient daughter to him and I never disobey or argue over things over again to him.

　　I made a soft knock to his office door "Papà, This is Mau" I said before opening the door.

　　As I opened the door I saw him comfortably sitting in his office chair with a glass of whiskey and a cigarette in his ashtray.

　　He motioned his hand telling me to sit in his visitors couch, so I did

　　"Mau, go back in Philippines" he said full of authorization and that made me stilled.

　　What? Why? I didn't do anything! I want to shout it out but I can't... "Papà, Why? Did I do wrong?" Calmly I ask even I want to tell him

　　He took a sip in his glass and stare to his table. Oh? What should I expect? He never wanted to see my face.

　　He hated me that much, huh? Then, I must go "Okay, I'll be back" still calm I said

　　"I want you to go in a college school again" he demand

　　"Yes, Papà" I answered

　　"I take care of everything you will be needed in Philippines, you will stay at our old house and don't worry the school can be a minute drive way" I just nodded in everything he is saying to me.

　　I just need to obey him and behave myself so that he can look at me again and accept me again as his daughter.

　　"Aimee will fetch you in airport make sure to contact her" Aimee... How I miss you! It's been three years!

　　"You want to say something?" His favorite question to me whenever he is finished talking

　　I just shook my head "Pack your things, Mariano will be with you" and even I'll be going to Philippines, his trusted right man will be going with me?

　　You didn't trust me? After that I leave and went to my room to pack my important things. I don't want to carry heavy luggage and I can even buy them in Philippines

　　I'm on the middle of packing when suddenly my phone ring. Who is this? To answer my question I answer the call without looking the caller ID

　　"Pronto" I said. I heard someone laugh and my eyes widen when I recognize that laugh.

　　It is Aimee!

　　"Ate, wag mo akong ma Italian Italian ah, alam mo namang di kita gets, Hahahaha!" Laughing she said

　　I even forget how to speak straight Filipino! Damn! "Aimee! Good to hear you! How are you? Are you fine? Did you eat? Oh god! Mi manchi!" I miss you!

　　"Ate! Okay lang ako, at pwede ba mag tagalog ka nga! Alam mo namang hindi ako matalas mag Italian" actually I didn't understand her.

　　I only understand are, Italian, okay and ate

　　"I have been here for a time" I said shrugging my shoulders

　　"What? A time? It's been twelve years, Ate!" She pointed out.

　　And that makes me stopped. It's been twelve years since I leave Philippines. My old friends... How I miss them! I wanna see them and hangout with them like the old times.

　　"Hello? Ate? Nandyan ka pa?"

　　"Aimee, I think I'll be having a problem."

　　"The language? I know that's why I told to dad that I'll teach you!" Cheerfully she said I small smile crept into my lips

　　"I'm looking forward to that, I'll hang up now. Make sure that you're in airport okay? Mariano and I will be there"

　　"Mariano? Are you married?!" That makes me frowned. How come she doesn't know who is Mariano? He is Papà's right man.

　　I already knew Mariano since high school so how come Aimee didn't know him?

　　"No, he's my bodyguard" I lied.

　　"Oh? That's too much" lowly she said

　　"Security first"

　　"Whatever, bilisan mo ang Pag uwi!" She said before hanged up the call

　　Slowly walking downstairs I can't erase all uneasiness that I am feeling. I am going back to the place I left for so long ago.

　　For the past twelve years many things have changed, many things happend and that makes me different to the old Mau Aimer Fontanazzi sixteen years ago.

　　I am pure blooded Italian but I was once lived my life in Philippines. Im born and raised in Philippines but when I graduated my highschool I decided to study abroad.

　　I'm already a licensed Veterinarian that's also one of the reasons why my father hates me. He thought I'm gonna take a course about business but it wasn't my thing and even Aimee.

　　Aimee is now having her own life in Philippines. She is five years younger to me, I am already 27 years old.

　　Can you imagine that? I'll be going with school again with my age? I'm too old for that! I really can't imagine myself studying or talking to some younger ones?

　　"Mia Signora," I heard Mariano called me. I open my eyes and glance at him. He is standing half bowing to my side

　　"Why? Do you need anything?" Calmly I said

　　"Mia Signora, we're already landed  in the Philippines, "

　　I just stand and walk towards to the exit of the plane, my head hurts! And I wanna see Aimee! I do have many stories to tell to her!

　　I didn't bother to wait Mariano for my luggage I just can't wait to see my sister.

　　I roam my gaze to find her I frown when I didn't see her nor her shadow. Where is she? She said she will be here waiting.

　　"ATE!!!" A familiar scream I heard that makes me smile

　　And there, I saw Aimee holding a banner with my name and hearts

　　"Ate! Wow! Ang ganda mo! Kapatid ba kita?" Ganda? Wait! I knew that! It means beautiful!

　　But I think it is 'maganda' not 'ganda' does it a slang word? "Mi Manchi! Mi Manchi!" I exclaimed in so much happiness and embrace her so tightly

　　"Geez! No Italian words okay? I can't get you"

　　"Oh yeah, whatever!"

　　After that dramatic scene we've got, we decided to go home as I say to her that my head hurts and I don't have much sleep.

　　"Then? You obey him?" Disbelief she said. I told her my reason why I was really here

　　"He is our Father" I stated like telling the reason why is should obey him

　　"No, no, no. C'mon Ate Mau, hindi ka naman hayop para sumunod sa kanya, you're his daughter for fuck's sake!" I immediately raised my one eyebrow when I heard her cursed

　　"You don't cursed when I'm around, you're Fontanazzi and we don't cursed" she rolled her eyes

　　"Tomorrow is your first day of class, I'll be the one who will drive you to your school and tour you around. I already graduated in that school so no one will harm you"

　　"That's good, I need time to rest." Tiredly I say

　　"Mariano will be with you too tomorrow?" She ask looking at me seriously

　　"Mariano, what is Papà's order?" He is currently seating at the passenger seat while Aimee is driving and I am at the backseat

　　"I'll be coming back to Florence, I just did make sure that Mia Signora will arrive safely here" oh? That's great!

　　No security! "Really?! We can have our bonding time!" Excited Aimee she said

　　"Don Filiato will contact you Mia Signora, " don't celebrate early self.

　　Remember you're doing this because you want him to look at you like how the old times. Don't cause another misery in Fontanazzi.

　　A promise I made to myself that no matter what happened I shall obey my father and don't cause any misery in my family because...

　　I already cause one and I don't wanna repeat that.
