1000 years, 10 centuries, 40 generations of humanity and finally again a new year of existence has arrived. The existing stories in humans have become my reality. I was awakened in the world, where the Vampire faction and Lycan clan have been at war for years before I was even born and their endless war was hidden from human world. The king raised me inside his Kingdom, trained to fight, to kill, to be more powerful above all races.

I am Reeve Dashkovari, a leader of death dealers, member of Elite Vampiresses, loyal warrior of the king, sworn to destroy every Lycans.

A blood feud between Vampires and Lycans that have never end, unseen by human eyes. Like the weapons of the previous years and centuries that gets old, we too would become obsolete.

From the top of the building I was in I didn't hesitate to jumped down. The moment that my foot touches the ground, I quickly head down the small road to the North.

My movement was fast, no one could ever notice me passing by them. Humans, they are too innocent for that, they will just find me as air whipped against their skin.

As soon as I saw my target, I quickly threw the knife I was holding that struck his back, I heard his growl because of what I did. In less than five seconds I quickly got in front of him and I quickly grabbed his neck, choke him to death and pulled the knife from his back that burns his flesh. I can see pain in his eyes as he struggles from my grip.

"Y-you'll n-never a-ack! G-get a-away f-from t-the aargh!" My nails buried on his flesh, before I pierced my hand on his chest, I could see the change in color of his eyes and blood flow from his mouth, in ten seconds he was burned by fire and turned into ashes.

"Traitor, conspiracy is a severe crime you committed, that was against the law of this clan, death is the best punishment you deserve, Harion." the law will always be on my hand, I am the most trusted vampire of the king, he let me handle things like this and for me any form of betrayal deserve death penalty.

I am the leader of the death dealers of my generation, the Vampire warriors that were created by the Vampire elders to hunt and terminate the Lycans.

"Reeve, you really are the big thorn in our race." I looked lifelessly at the one who speak behind me.

"Vermonth," the leader of the Lycans.

His mischievous face gradually became more serious, his eyes turned golden yellow as he immediately grabbed my neck. I let out a smirk at him, before he quickly kicked me. I dodge all of his attacks and never let him lay even just a tip of his finger on my skin. I am not a death dealers' leader without this ability. I am not Reeve, for nothing.

If he was fast my speed tripled it. So when he couldn't hit me he immediately stepped back from me. He growled as he run away.

I was about to pull the gun out from behind me when he disappeared from my sight and I saw a car approaching.

I stopped at the plan and immediately hid the gun, I firmly gathered the remains and quickly jumped up to the building where Lazarus had been watching us ever since.

"Your head is too hot." He smirked.

"Harion makes my blood boil."

"Relax lady, Harion is dead."

"He deserved it."

"Yeah, he's been spying on us, for months."

"And that stinky werewolf, leader of the Lycans Vermonth is getting on my nerve, I should have get rid of him a while ago. I badly want to wring his neck." meet the eyebrow I said he just laughed.

"Such a bad temper, don't mind that dog. I have news."

"What is it?"

"King Lucien invited us for celebration." I frowned at what he said.

"Celebration?"

"Mira is back."

Suddenly my mind stopped at that name. I immediately lost my speech and my throat seemed to dry up from what I had learned.

"Are you ready now to face the heiress again after 1 year?"

"She's just the heiress. I don't fucking care, I am always ready on everything Lazarus." I heard her laugh at what I said. Well, the day before Mira left was not good. We fought and I almost killed her.

"Damn, your heart is a pure rock."

"I am not, Reeve without this heart." He immediately smiled foolishly at me.

Upon entering the palace we were greeted by their gaze. Some of them raised their glass of blood with a little grin on their lips. I just looked at them seriously and didn’t give them any kind of smile. Laz and I went straight up to the second floor where the royal smile of victory was given to us. We were handed a hard glass which I immediately tasted.

"Another mission accomplished my dear, Reeve. Aside from that, Mira is back with good news." My forehead furrowed and my gaze turned to the woman who had just arrived from somewhere. She stares at me with coldness in her eyes.

"Mira?"

"I already found out the place where we could find the one and only immortal ..." Mira's words immediately grabbed everyone's attention.

I did not lose my firm gaze on her before sipping again from the glass cup I was holding.

"At last, after thousand of years we will have the eternal power, eternal strength and the eternal life." The one below began to rejoice followed by the king's laughter.

"Where does he seem to be found?" I asked as I toyed with the remaining blood in my glass while looking at it. Some stopped and were distracted by what I said.

"In the City of Zirconia. That's where he came from." I immediately stopped what I was doing and stared at her who was now staring at me intently.

"You're the one I want to go to that place to find him, Reeve." The king said next, but Mira and I remained staring at each other.

"And I'll be with you." I was suddenly surprised by what she said.

"Laz is the one I want to be with."

" I'll put him as the temporary head of the death dealers while you're gone." I turned to Laz and the expression on his face looked like nothing really could be done.

"On Friday we are scheduled to leave, prepare the things to take." after that I lost the mood to go along with their fun. My mind was filled with various questions, with no answer.

I sat quietly in a corner and watched the vampires rejoice.

What if ...

No Reeve, they can't. She can't.

"Thinking about your new mission?" I saw how she walk with class and elegance. She really deserves to be the next queen of this kingdom.

"Maybe."

"Afraid?"

"I'm not."

"I know that mission is just a piece of cake for you, Reeve."

"Glad you know." I felt him shake.

"I am giving you a chance Reeve, this mission is your only chance. I hope you know what I mean."

I wasn’t able to answer what she said because I already knew. I know what she is referring to. As I expected, she seemed to know something. Questions in my mind started to flow like a water, one comes after another. What does her plan? What’s her purpose? What are you hiding inside that mind of yours, Princess Miradale Vanderroost?
