Leena enters the party with her parents.. She looked tremendously gorgeous in a black sleeveless designer gown .She was greeting everybody she knew but her eyes were searching for someone .. She was looking here and there and suddenly stopped at the centre of the hall where she found the person she has been longing for .Jack was smiling looking at Leena . Leena suddenly bend towards her father and whisper .

Leena : Dad I will greet other people in the party..

Robert: Other people or..........

Leena : Come on dad ..

Leena felt uncomfortable

Robert : ok ok . Go ..

Leena go towards Jack and greet him.

Leena :Hi Jack , how are you ??? Where are Uncle and aunt?

Jack : Hi Leena , I'm good . You look gorgeous today . Are you planning to have a boyfriend ?? You can tell me I'll search for one today ..

Leena : Shut up. Where are you parents ??

Jack : You know them they are busy with the preparations.. This year our parents are announcing about our business expansion in international market .. But I think they are behaving suspiciously.. I don't think it's only about business they are planning.. What are your opinions?

Leena : May be I'm not sure.. I have .... Leena was interrupted by the sudden claps

Suddenly all those people started clapping. Jack and Leena saw Jack's parents coming. His father Daniel Simmons and his mother Lisa Simmons.. They seem cheerful . Leena parents go towards them and hugged them. Leena and Jack parents were talking together. Party was going well .

Their parents were greeting other guests there . Jack and Leena were always familiar of these business parties. They were busy talking with their friends of the business circle ..

And suddenly ..

Daniel : Hello everyone ...

Everyone stopped talking and listen to him.

... We are founder of this company LAVISH , today I wanna share some thing with you all...LAVISH, this is not just our company. This is the outcome of our sufferings , struggles and gains.. We had our worst days and also had our best memories establishing this company .. You all know 40 years ago we four ,my family, my friend ,my brother Robert Flores his wife Clare Flores Me, Daniel Simmons and my wife Lisa Simmons started this company from scratch.. This company means more than anything for us .. And this company to flourish this well you all played a most important role ... Thank you for working for us with full devotion .. Without these many dedicated helping hands we would never be number one .. Thank you so much once again.. Now I want Robert to announce something so important ...

Robert take mic from Daniel hand .. Everyone starts to clap

Robert : Daniel thank you my brother ... I'm happy to have you as my partner and a family .

Robert hugged Daniel

.. I don't think I have more to say about the company and I agree everything what Daniel says .. I have an special announcements to make so I'm not gonna waste more of your precious time... Before announcing anything i want to call My life, my sweet heart my daughter Leena and Daniels son a very handsome boy Jack...

Jack and Leena weren't aware why were they called . They looked to each others eyes .. They felt little awkward but they go up to the stage. everybody claps

Robert: I will continue again ..The first thing is our company expanded our business in France also and we succeed to root in the local market.. Our design was a huge success .

every body clapped and hooded.. . And one more good news ,the most important announcement for today is ............. any guesses ???

Mass : No

Robert : We want our family to unite .. We want Jack and Leena to engage today... The light focused on them..

Leena was surprised and so much happy but Jack wasn't.. Clare and Lisa bring two beautiful rings ..

But the sad face Jack had made Leena sad .

Leena : Are you ok?? You seem sad ??

Jack : Hmmm... Did you know about this arrangements??

Leena : Are you serious ?? Would I choose this dress for my engagement if I knew about it ?? You know I would be preparing for months ..

Leena was right . The dress Leena wearing today was the design what they both finalised months ago for company party only.

She was not easily convinced while doing shopping specially her dress and jewellery..

Leena : I don't think you are ok with the announcement..

Jack was in dilema.. he wasn't able to decide ..

He liked some one else but he don't want to hurt his family , Leena and her parents ... The bond those two families had will be ruined if he don't agree to engage Leena .. So he decided to get engage for company and their families reputation.. He plan to clear the this problem after they reach home ..

Lisa and Clare hand the rings to Leena and Jack .. Jack put the ring on Leena's finger and so did Leena . Leena was so happy she hugged Jack but Jack didn't respond well..

Leena :what happened Jack ? Are you sick ?? Or were you not ready for the engagement ???

Jack : I need to talk to you .. I want you to visit someone .

Leena : I'll go but when ??

Jack : After the party..

Leena :ok ok .

Jack : just a second Leena I have to message some office documents ..

Leena : Sure

And Jack excused for some time and message someone. The number was saved as, April

Jack : Sorry April don't get furious .. I'll explain everything. I saw all the missed calls ..

April was the girl Jack met when he went for a business to city B.. They had their branch there in city B. Jack need to go there frequently for business meetings. April was daughter of one of the workers of his company who had been serving the company as a supervisor for 40 years and everybody respected him as he was loyal but he suddenly died of heart disease. He had heart problem for sometime and need to have a surgery but he never wanted to be a burden for his daughter so he keep the truth to himself . John only family was April so he request Jack to take care of her daughte . As he served the company from the start he promised to take care of her . April didn't have a good life as John donate most of the money to a orphanage where he meet his wife .. She had to struggle a lot but she was kind to all and give her hundred percent to teach those poor student from the orphanage . She seem to be happy with what she had . At first Jack was so much touched by how she lived and after meeting her time and again his responsibility turned to his liking for her and so did April .. He bring her to his city and promised to marry her .

After he finished to message April . Jack keep watching Leena for few minutes and his eyes were full of tears . He knew he wasn't sad because of the engagement, the reality was he hate to hurt Leena . He realised Leena's feelings for him that day seeing how happy Leena was.

Leena happiness can't be explained and she was thinking about what surprises Jack was gonna give her .. This engagement was the best gift their parents gave to her ... Without knowing about the upcoming disaster she was enjoying the party .. Leena and Jack danced together and had a fun time .. Jack was about to crush her happiness in few hours and that broke Jack inside ..He could sense Leena's heart now.

3 hours party finally come to and end . As Daniel and Robert wanted them so have some privacy they allowed them to enjoy by themselves ..

Robert : Today is your day so you both enjoy .

Daniel: It was a surprise for both of you , so you must have something to talk .. We will go..

Jack and Leena : sure

They both headed towards the car and Jack drove the car.. It took them 30 minutes to reach them to the place and in those 30 minutes Leena told Jack about all her future plan about the wedding..

Leena : I want a grand weeding venue with lots and lots of our favourite flowers and I want my wedding dress designed by Aunt Lisa . I need her and my mother to arrange everything with me . Jack parents were so close to Leena and usually do everything to make her happy ..

She was kind of spoilt by the love of two couples

.. She was talking too much today .. Jack was ashamed to look at her eyes because whatever she was saying was in vain.. They weren't going to marry for sure.. Just thinking of hurting her made him miserable ..

They reach near a apartment .. Leena never come to the places like this as she had her own mansion. It was a good apartment but not seem to have much facilities.. Leena was shocked why they were there , so she asked .

Leena : why are we here ???

Jack entering the appartment , let's go up first.

Leena : Ok

They go inside the elevator and Jack press 5 and they reach the fifth floor ..And Jack took Leena near a door and press the bell button , suddenly the door was open and a beautiful girl come out of the appartment .Leena was shocked..

Jack : Let's go inside . Everybody enter the appartment ..

Leena : Who is she ??

April : I'm April I'm....

Jack : Wait April I will tell myself .. She is my my.. I mean She is ..... my girlfriend..

he hesitated to explain her

Leena was shocked . She couldn't utter a simple word .. She couldn't believe what she heard.. Just an hour ago she was the most happiest person in the planet .And now what she heard was impossible to believe ..

Jack : Leena , we liked eachother for 5 months .. when I met April 6 months ago ,I knew she was the one I wanna spend my life with . I was about to tell but was waiting for a good time .

Leena : And when did you think was a good time ..? Is everything a joke for you ?? And why are you even telling this now??

Leena knew the reason but she wanted the answer from Jack.

Jack : I'm sorry for hurting you .. But this wasn't what I wanted to happen .You may hate me after this but please forgive me . please ...

Leena : You meet her for 6 months and you loved so much that you wanted to ruin our families reputation and friendship for her ??

Jack : No Leena but I'm all she have now .. I'm her only family . You don't know what life she has been living .Her father is oldest worker we had but he died 6 months ago .. And he wanted me to take care of her ..

Leena : Ok take care of her I'll help you with that but don't say you love her and wanted to marry her .

Jack : I like her and I want to .....

Leena interrupted Jack. : This is what you think Love is . Are you sure it isn't sympathy..??

Jack : Stop it Leena.. You don't know my heart why are you even talking nonsense.

April was sitting there watching everything . She was hit by the point . Leena made sense . She knew how much Jack cared about Leena and her happiness . When they meet in city B Jack talk all the time about Leena .. She assumed them to be lover when she first met Jack and how he was talking about Leena only.. But everything was too late she was in love with Jack and she didn't want to loose her only family ..

Leena : Ok fine , I will be out of your life .. Is it what you want ??

Jack : No Leena you got me wrong .. You are my friend and I love you and want you to be by my side forever ..

Leena : Keep quite . I don't need your friendship.. Be happy with your girlfriend . I have loved you for years .. I had no guts to tell you all these things . I know I'm late to express my feelings but I wont cling on to you and conspire against you both but don't expect much from me . I can't suffer seeing you both having a happy family . It will kill me inside .And from today don't dare to come to me. I don't need you sympathy.

Leena seems to be strong but the pain she had inside was killing her ..She knew she won't be able take the pain anymore so she open the door and go towards the elevator..Jack tried to stop her and calm her down .. He hugged her but she rejected his every concerns ..

Leena : Don't try to cross the boundaries .We are strangers.. Don't expect to get my forgiveness and live a happy life. I want you to be in pain as I'm now .Leena burst into tears and that made Jack more painful .

Jack offer to take her back and followed her but she denied ... But he didn't stop to follow her .. He was afraid she will do something bad ..

Leena saw Jack following her so she stopped a taxi and was about to get inside the taxi . Before entering she said

Leena :

Leena couldnt stop crying

This is all I can do for you .

Leena wipe her tears

. I will convience my parents and all of other responsibility you need to take by your self.. Be happy, you won't be able to see me from tomorrow ..

she tried to stop tears but she couldn't, she get annoyed

Ah these tears ..

Jack : Please don't say these things . I wasn't aware that you loved me.. I just found today.

Leena interrupted: Nothing would have changed ..

Driver asked Leena

Driver : Are you going ?

Leena : Lets go I'm done
