Sammy’s Point of View

I woke up early to prepare our breakfast. I often wake up early. My Mom sometimes got home in the morning because her job is a call center agent. My Dad. Well, I don’t know where he is. I haven’t been looking for him since he left us. There is no reason to look for and chase those people who have left. My older sister always woke up late because she always watching Korean Drama the whole night. I’ve never been interested in watching such things. I would rather hang out in our library and read some books in my room all day and all night than watch such drama.

I set our table to serve the dishes I had cooked. I cooked fried rice, eggs and dried squid. These are my favorite foods for breakfast. I’m sure my older sister will hit me again because I didn’t cook her favorite hotdog.

“Good morning!” Mom greeted me as she went downstairs.

“Good morning Mom! Let’s eat.”

“Sure. But go to your sister’s room first and wake her up so we can finally eat” she said while brewing coffee.

“Alright Mom!” I said and immediately went upstairs to wake up my sister.

“Wait, where’s my hotdog? You didn’t cook some for me?!” she asked feeling annoyed.

“I’m sorry we’ve run out of oil.” I excused even though we still have a lot of oil.

“You’re such a liar! Here! We have so much oil.” She said and showed me the bottle of oil that had only been reduced a little.

I didn’t say anything because I knew that the conversation would be long when I answered back.

“Stop it Masey! Just eat what’s on the table. If you were awake in the morning, you could have cooked the dish you want.” Mom said.

‘Hmp.” She was still annoyed as she sat down and started eating.

Bobby’s Points of View

“Mom! I’m going!” I said goodbye to Mom while they were eating breakfast at the dining table.

“Hey Son! Eat breakfast first before you leave!” Mom said.

“No Mom! I’m just going to eat at school, I’m in a hurry.” I said then kissed her cheek.

“Okay, bye son! Keep safe while you’re driving.” Mommy said.

I went to the garage and took my car and immediately drove to school. Do you want to know why I’m in a hurry? It’s because of Melvin, that jerk. Melvin texted me that our assignment in Biology would be submitted, but I didn’t do it last night because were entertained by playing online games. That jerk, had the courage to play online games all night because he finished doing his homework. He didn’t even tell me. So now, I’m going to the library to do some research.

When I parked my car I saw Melvin leaning in his car obviously waiting for me.

“Hey Dude! Have you done your biology assignment yet? Online games no more HAHAHA!” he teased.

“Stupid! I haven’t done it yet! Can I just copy yours? I feel like I’ll be late if I go to the library.” I excused.

It’s true because I’m in my last year in senior and during my whole life as a student I’ve never been able to enter in our school library. Usually, when I have a homework I just do it at home and research it on internet. Internet does my homework every time or when I’m really lazy to do it I just use ctrl C and ctrl V or if I have no choice I asked my admirers to do my homework for me. Not to brag but I have so many admirers at school. Well, I’m handsome. So I understand what they feel.

“Dude, are you out of your mind? What do you mean by copying my homework? Ms. Matty is our biology teacher and you know that she knows when her student is just copying their homework to their classmates.

“I don’t want to be like the students she caught copying and then throwing the whole class on the field while the sun is so straight! I want to protect my white skin.” He growled.

Ms. Matty is a new instructor here at our school. Many says that she was very strict and unfortunately she became our biology teacher. The subject that I hate the most.

“Tss! Okay fine! Go ahead! I’ll get going. I’m going to the library. You need to explain to Ms. Matty if I’m not in the classroom on time. After all, it’s your fault that’s why I didn’t do my homework. Just give her any excuses. Ciao!” I said and ran to the library.

“Bye Dude! Good Luck! I hope you enjoy talking with the books in the library HAHAHA.” I heard him shout. I just ignored him and made my way to the library.

When I entered the door I was surprised while observing the entire library. It was huge and has many bookshelves. Where can I find the book that will be my source of answers to our homework? Nor do I know where the biology books are placed here.

Now you know Bobby. You should visit the library sometimes so you will know where the books are.

I looked around and saw a few students studying and reading. The others probably making reports using their laptops while researching. But one student caught my attention. She was alone at the far table near the window in the corner of the library. She has an AirPods in her ears while reading. She’s pretty. Her nose is pointed, her eyelashes are long and her pinkish lips is small. See? I even saw the whole of her face from here at the door to the corner where she was sitting.

I came back to my senses when I remembered that I was going to be late so I needed to do my homework.

I looked for the librarian and saw that she was not on her table. So I have no choice, I have to explore the whole library to find the book I need. I wandered around the library while reading different book names but 15 minutes left since I was looking for it in the library but still I couldn’t find that biology book. Maybe I need to ask for help to the some of the students here.

I look for someone to ask but that woman who grabbed my attention earlier who was pretty and wearing an AirPods is the only one that here in the library. I didn’t notice that the students here earlier had already left, so I’ll just ask her. I slowly approached her and call her.

“Ahh. Miss... Excuse me?” I grabbed her attention.

She slowly looked at me and I saw her round eyes were pitch black. She is pretty. Do you know Virgin Mary’s face? That’s how I describe her. I just stared at her, she’s really beautiful.

I was go back in reality when he clapped in front of my face. I blinked and sneezed.

“Ahh… Ehem… Ahh... I want to ask a question. Where are the biology books here?” Sh*t Bobby, why are you stuttering?!

She stood up and walked away. I just followed her with my gaze and she approached a shelf and took a book there. She gives me the book that she took without saying a word. I accepted the book and saw her return to her seat and continue reading the book she was reading earlier.

I sat at the table in front of her while looking at her. I saw that she looked at me and frowned as if wondering why did I sit in front of her but after that she didn’t speak and just went back to reading.

I just stared at her face which was so beautiful. She reads seriously. It made me think. It’s nice that she really understands what she’s reading even though she’s wearing AirPods.

“Ehem.” I just removed my gaze from her when I heard her sneeze and look slightly at me as if she wants to say that I shouldn’t stare at her.
