Her life was pretty boring ,not to mention monotonous

She was a high school student who just turned 18. She was living an ordinary quiet life in a big city,going to school ,coming home ,homework ,her part time job ,her books and bed.she had no best friend.though she did have a whole group of very good friends

she was called very beautiful .She had long long hair that came up to about her knees and brown in colour with red streaks. She had ears that were slightly pointed although not like the elves shown in the movies.but even then she got teased about them alot. She also had light stormy grey eyes ,a perfect straight little nose and plump lips. Her name was sheherazade

her mom was a huge fan of the 1001 Arabian nights

One day her life of perfect bliss came to an end when her dad came home and announced some very upsetting news.

She had gotten home from school,it was her day off from work, and was helping her mom cook a lasagna.Her dad was unusually quite as he ate.

After the meal as she was helping her mom load the dishwasher her dad told them that he had been relocated for his job to a little town and that they will all have to move.

“wow are you serious dad” she whined

“look pumpkin I don’t like moving either but it’s a very good working opportunity and it comes with an attractive salary package and a many other benefits.”

Her dad was a sales manager for a very reputable pharmaceutical company.

“But dad it’s my final year in high school” she said

“well you we can’t leave you here ,you are our only child and I would like to keep this family together for as long as I can”

Her mom replied.

She wanted to argue some more but realized they were not going to leave her here no matter what.

So she just went to her room gloomily

Next day she broke the news to her group of friends

“What !You are moving! like now .Our senior year just started”her friend Maddy Said

“You just turned 18 , why can’t you have your own place here ,we ll start college after a year any way” said Rachel , another one of her friends

“yeah I know that’s why mom wants me to go with them,it’s our last year together” she replied sadly

“Well that sucks”said Rachel

“when do you move”asked Maddy

“In weeks time”

“Oh crap that soon”

“Well let’s make most your time here then”

And they spent rest of the time either shopping or else eating out side of different restaurants.
