In Phoenix city, there are three villages, namely Divitiae Ville- a village for wealthy people or elite families, Tenebris Ville- a village of darkness and Fortem Ville- a village for middle-class people.

"Go hide! Madie, I said hide!" Allison yelled at her daughter who is just staring at her, shocked and does not know what is happening.

"Get the gun and watch over here as I go downstairs," Philip, husband of Allison whispered in her ears as he slowly crawls down the stairs.

An hour before, a group of men came banging at their door.

"Who is there?" Philip shouted as he approaches the door.

He looked over the lens and saw a pitiful man standing in front of their house. He wore rugged jeans and a black shirt matching it with his black bonnet. He was carrying a trash bag. Philip opened the door and ask the man what he was looking for and why is he banging at their door.

The man answered in a shaky voice imitating the voice of an old man, "I've got nothing to eat and I've been starving for five days. Can you hand me some money? I came all the way…," then the man paused for a while.

"From?" Philip asked.

The man suddenly changed his shaky voice into a scary voice and said, "FROM TENEBRIS."

Upon hearing the word "Tenebris," Philip assumed that this man could be a criminal or a bad person since he came from the village of darkness. He tried to hold his fear when he saw an old truck approaching near them. Men uniformed in black came out of the truck and all their faces were covered. They were all staring at them. Philip asked them to wait so that he will get the money, which is inside their house.

"Oh, do not close the door!" One of the men shouted while others were laughing like crazy.

Philip had a strong feeling that something is not right. He had no one to ask for help since all his security guards went home for a month's vacation. When he entered the house, he was trying to figure out what will he do next. He was searching for his phone to call for help but his phone is nowhere to be found. This is not his first time to encounter such an event but this time it is different. When he was on his way to their room, one of the men started a countdown.

"Bring the money in the count of 20, 20, 19…,"

Philip was alarmed and started to panic, he ran as fast as he could and grabbed his gun instead of the money. He is confident that he will win over these men since he is a skilled police officer.

"Wake up, Allison! Wake up!"

"What is hap…?" asked Allison.

"There is no more time to explain, carry Madie and bring her to the safe room. After that, take your gun with you and watch over here as I go down the stair, okay?" Philip whispered to her wife.

"15, 14, 13 …"

"Faster Mr. Carter! We are waiting," the rugged man added.

Allison saw Madie came out of the room, and then she shouted over her daughter "Go hide! Madie, I said hide!"

The men outside heard Allison shouting and they started firing their guns at the house.

Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang

The couples bent down and kissed each other before they parted ways. Philip went crawling slowly down the stairs while Allison went hiding behind the post as she prepares her gun.

"7, 6, 5, 4…, why are you trying to hide? We were just asking for help, money in particular. Is that a heavy request, Mr. Carter?" And the man continues to fire his gun while entering the house.

Allison was trembling, she saw her husband sweating in fear as he hides behind the walls. She tried to calm herself but tears kept falling from her eyes.

Philip shouted as he asked, "Who sent you to do this?"

Then a complete silence took over the place. Philip slowly peeks on to see if the man is still out there. He signaled his wife also to check on them. The wife smiled and excitingly said, "They're gone, Honey!"

Philip was relieved; Allison went running down to hug her husband when all of a sudden,

"It is too early to celebrate, Mr. and Mrs. Carter. In 3, 2, 1," then all of the men entered the house and start shooting everywhere.

The couple tried to run and hide but there is no more way to escape. Philip spots his target and came out shooting three men down. His skills are far advanced than other people in town. When he tried to fire on his second attempt, he was shot on his shoulder, causing him to fell to the floor. Allison, who is an ex-military, pulled her husband towards her to exchange position. She was about to spot her target when a gun was pointed at her head. The man shot Philip in his hand to avoid him picking the gun.

"Drop your gun and move!" The man commanded Allison and pulled Philip on his feet. They tied them in the post and put tape on their mouth. There were four men in front of Allison and Philip, but this time their faces were not covered.

"Do you recognize us, Mr. Carter? We spent almost half of our lives because of a goddamn police officer like you! Have you felt satisfaction when you put us in jail? Have you?" The man continued to rewind every single detail that happened to them when Mr. Carter caught them robbing a bank.

"Is it because you have much? You cannot feel the way we do because you have plenty of money. We planned to rob the bank because we need money for the operation of my wife. Now, she's dead because of you!" The man shoots Philip again on his lap. Allison was helplessly crying while Philip is losing a lot of blood.

Then all of them in the room heard a loud siren.

"The police are coming!" Said one of the men and they began to run towards the truck preparing to escape.

"I thought we would enjoy this conversation, but you brothers and sisters are interrupting this special moment. I am not after your wealth, I AM AFTER YOU! Stop crying you little whore!" And he pointed his gun at Allison

"Any last words?"

Allison felt helpless; she just closed her eyes as the last teardrop fell off the ground. The man fired his gun a couple of times at them that caused their death. He was full of satisfaction, laughing and running. The man and his men managed to escape before the police arrived.
