Prologue

"I love how you make me feel" she held him tightly not allowing him to leave the room. He wanted to push her away, but he was being careful, he didn't want to hurt her too. He cried for help inside of him but he didn't receive any answer. Who would save him from this drama. Yes. he caught feelings on the way, but he can't do this anymore. He was tired. This wasn't right.

"You're taken!" he bellowed at her. His sudden outburst made her stiff at first, but when his countenance became softer, she relaxed. She looked at her hand and pulled out the ring on her fourth finger. She pointed it at him and her voice broke.

"I don't want this anymore, I..would sacrifice this for us!"

"NO!" his rage filled the room, this time fear gripped her, she felt weak and nervous. He wasn't listening. She wanted him so bad, and presently she didn't care how any other person feels about the situation. She could tell from his expression that he was frustrated. She has made him go through a lot for the past few months, was this payback. As much as she felt like threatening him. She has caught too much feelings to do so. Moreover, he had the upper hand now due to her condition.

"I would never do this to him!" his voice broke too, he had betrayed him, more was expected from him. Why did things go sideways. He wanted to leave the house. Leave all this behind. Bit guilt gripped him. He stared at her eyes and his heart skipped, he didn't know what he was doing wrong, leaving or staying.

"No one has to know" she whimpered holding his hands tight.

It was her usual rhyme. From the first time 'they' started till now. He couldn't believe she could utter those words again. Although with much concern and fear, the words hit him and he blamed himself for being in this gullible situation. There were so many reasons why no one had to know and all were negatives.

Things will fall apart!

Families would break, heart will shatter, anger will build, hatred will rule, lies would laugh, bond will lose, all this for uncontrollable genitals.

Was it worth it?

He didn't know if he was able to take this risk or not. She looked ready to bare all this. But he couldn't believe someone could go this far for him. He loosen her grip on his hand, took her wedding band and placed it back in her fingers.

Was this the only way to seal a promise?
